Update #3!

When I left off, I was in Canalave with 6 badges. Before I went to Snowpoint, I went to Iron Island to get me a Riolu egg. Then I boxed Croaky on my way to Snowpoint. I dispose of the gym with Po (getting to kill his archenemy, SNEASEL (Really?), in the meantime), having to Revive him a couple times too. Then, I go through Mt. Coronet (after going through a few epic Contests and getting an epic Lucario, and pretty much wasting my Drain Punch TM) and evolve Mimi. Team Galactic was not much of a challenge until you get to Cyrus. I was stuck Reviving people over and over and over again, hoping for his Gyarados to waste his PP! Then I killed him. I caught Giratina (and a couple others) for the postgame. Then, I trained en route to Pal Park and finally evolved Croaky! There you have it, everyone is evolved. I would have gotten a Heracross, but he's too hard to get and now he just seems unnecessary.

Anyway, on the next update, I will challenge Volkner and his Platinum team and get to the League. I won't fight the League yet because it seems like too much in one update. Anyway, bye! Started up my bug only run of white again...

For anyone who didn't see the last ones, where I beat the first 2 gyms with just my starter, as per rules, and caught Sewaddle/Venipede...

Anyway, I decided instead of doing images, if people are interested in watching them, I'll just upload my gym battles.

Burgh's Whirlipede was freaking evil. XD That's all I can say.



Opinions on if you guys would prefer a youtube video over the images? Found a better way to record No$GBA, so I'm experimenting, xD

As previously stated, once Karrablast is available, I will be pokesav changing evolving it to Escavalier, and was already given the OK for that. It will have nothing altered, other than evolution.​

I started the game with my Turtwig, grinded against some wild pokemon and cleared my war to Jublife City. I got my Poketec and proceeded out towards Oreburgh. Unfortunately for me, I lost against my rival outside of Jublife. I fainted is Starly easily with tackle, then his Chimchar got a lucky crit with scratch and K.O.ed my Turtwig. I scrubbed him the second match and reached Oreburgh. I cleared the mine and beat the leader. Unluckily for me, I didn't save...

Time for the next part of Jake's adventures!

I was on my way to Sunnyshore City, getting Croaky some more levels for the upcoming gym. I get to the city, and who do I see? It's Ronald McDonald!!!!! (:D) The clown asks me if I can cheer up Volkner, and I say sure, anything for the mascot of my favorite fast food restaraunt! I have to admit, Volkner was tough, but nothing I couldn't put in their place. When I go to the sea, I see this lady, and none other than my good old pal Barry! I hate the guy, but Jasmine still gives me HM07 in honor of our "friendship". I end up switching Bibarel for a Floatzel that I named Buddy for the postgame as my HM slave. I almost run out of supplies in Victory Road and forget to buy more stuff for the Elite Four. Here's a play-by-play.

Aaron: Yanmega is OHKO'ed by Flamethrower. Drapion dodges Iron Tail, so I switch to Croaky for Mud Bomb, who is killed by Aerial Ace. Tarzan 2HKO's Drapion with Flamethrower. Heracross meets the same fate as the other two, as do Vespiquen and Scizor. Riley gains two levels, getting to 45. 1 down, 3 to go!

Bertha: I start this battle with Po and his Ice Punch. I have to take care of Whiscash carefully. He starts with Sandstorm, and Po with Cross Chop. A Zen Headbutt and Earth Power and Po is dead. I bring in Lancelot with Psycho Cut and Po is avenged. For Gliscor, I throw in Mimi as a shield as I revive Po. He is killed again and I throw in Lancelot as another shield. I use my LAST Revive on Po and a Hyper Potion as Lancelot is killed by Fire Fang. Po can finally land an Ice Punch but it only half kills him. Would have loved a freeze there. Great. Po is killed. Tarzan does the dirty deed and gains a level. Hippowdon comes out with a Sand Stream to shake things up. Tarzan does a Close Combat, in vain, unfortunately. My last hope is Riley. I'm doomed. He CC's and dies too. Goodbye, perfect win streak. Ok, I will try again next time.

As you can see, I lost on Bertha and I won't try again for a little bit, after some levelups and some Vs. Seeking. Till next time! As for my team, it's the same as last time, but everyone is in the mid-40s except for Infernape, who is 56, and I finally relearned CC on Tarzan!

Just started my Ice Monotype challenge for Fire Red. I'll update this later with screens/video.

Update:

Had to change my starter to Seel or else I woundn't
have been getting an Ice type until I at least get surf.

I HAD to hack in a Shellder or else I'd be grinding for
about 1 or so trying to get Seel to learn Icy Wind, can't
beat the gym with just Headbutt. :s If thats against the
rules or anything please let me know and I'll release it.
