Started from Cerulean Pokemon Center:

-Rival Battle #3:
The first battle does not go well at all. Pidgeotto goes down fine, but then Bulbasaur uses sleep powder on Wartortle and
Vine Whips my team to death.
Second battle: The same outcome. It looks like I will be challenging the gym first this time.

The gym: The trainers go down easily, and so does Misty. Staryu was down in 2 turns, and Bite got a critical hit on
Starmie after a Super Potion. The good news: Magikarp is now level 18. I used the 2 rare candies I had found on it, and
now I had a Gyarados.

Time to challenge the rival again. Pidgeotto goes down easily, with a critical hit water Gun and a Bubble. He brings out
Bulbasaur, and I switch to Gyarados. I use Bite, then he predictably uses Sleep Powder. He uses Vine Whip, and it only
takes off 6 of my 72 HP, meaning it didn't even have enough PP to take down Gyarados. Bulbasaur faints. Obviously, Abra
and Rattata were defeated with no trouble.

After that, I went through Nugget Bridge, using Gyarados until it fainted from Poison Point and used Wartortle for the
rest. Met Bill & got the SS Ticket. Beat the Rocket Grunt and all the trainers in Route 6.

-Saved at Vermilion Pokemon Center.

Okay I've been putting this off for a while but this challenge seems to awesome to resist.

I'm going to be playing through but since I don't want to touch my Diamond because of HGSS soon, I'll stop after I beat RSE.

Anyway, I'll be doing the challenge with Poison-type Pokemon only, and starting on Blue.

Also, I'm using an emulator, which means speed up button is my best friend. Expect many updates at a time, haha.

~ Defeated Brawly in 2 tries. Try one failed at Machop (D'oh!)
~ Saved Captain Crunch Stern from those Team Aqua fanatics. I hope none of THEM have Cubones!

~ They mentioned another team, team "Magma". Fire types? freaking charizard n00bs.
~ Found May AGAIN, and wasted her team.
~ Beat Watson after a lot of grinding. Sparky just got up Howls and swept.

~ UNLIKE Johto though, it's required here. Good thing I have Zigzagoon then.

~ Found this "Team Magma" Feuding with Aqua.

~ Had Plusle and Minun beat up a Seviper, which seems wrong somehow (I'll have to do it with Roselia someday). Also fought a double battle with a Seviper and a Spoink involved (cookies for understanding THIS.)
~ ...Team magma has Fire/Ground types. THEY HATE MEEEE!
~ I found out that their leader has a FULLY EVOLVED GROUND TYPE, and prepaired... for an easy battle?
~ Sereously, Tabatha proved more of a problem than Maxie.

-Attempt to run away from home, get stopped by the man wearing the labcoat.

-Stole his Aqua-Turtle, and named him Leonardo, because he's a turtle...

Shut up.

-Bill chose the Dinosaur/Potted Plant hybrid, which had its ass handed to him by Leonardo.

-Bill acted like a jerk and ran off like the jerk he is.

-Left several corpses of wild animals on my way to Viridian, where I was forced to backtrack after getting a package for the maniac back in Pallet.

-After giving him his package the maniac gave me a high-tech book which I'll never look at again. Bill was a jerk, also.

-Caught a Rattata and Pidgey, named them Slaveone and Slavetwo, respectively.

-Met Bill west of Viridian, and kicked his ass handily. He was then quite a jerk to us... darn jerk...

-Headed to Viridian Forest, where I kicked many asses, both Bug and Bug Catcher... It was fun.

-Challenged the Gym right away, it was pretty darned easy with Leonardo being level 14.

-Leonardo also evolved after beating Brock, his awesome factor went up by 45. (Arbitrary number.)

-Brock gave me a TM that no one uses... not if they're serious, that is.

-Went east, and beat all of the trainers with a minimum of effort.

-This guy in the Pokemon Center by Mount Moon said that he had this awesome Pokemon for sale really cheaply. Excited at this, I bought it. When I looked at it all he did was... flopped around... I named him Floppers...

-Headed back to train Floppers against the trainers I had missed. (He has to get better, right?)

-Started my way through Mount Moon with Floppers at level 7 and still useless.

-There. Are. Bats. Everywhere. EVERYWHERE!

-Oh and I beat up the trainers in there too. (With Leonardo, of course.)

-Met a mental patient in the cave... I stole one of his fossils... it was shaped like dome... fun.

-Replaced Leonardo's Tackle attack with Mega Punch... Because it's awesome.

-Arrived in Cerulean.

-Headed north to see what there was to see, and was intercepted by the jerk, Bill, who I defeated easily, VERY easily.

CURRENT TEAM= Leonardo/Squirtle Level 22, Floppers/Magikarp Level 14.

I'll be continuing my Crystal game. I've played quite a bit since my last post, but can't quite remember exactly how it happened but heres an overview:
-Surfed across to Cianwood City

-In Cianwood I beat Eusine, got the secretpotion and beat the Gym
-Made my way back to Olivine, where I beat the Gym
-Surfed across to Mahogany

-Saved just before the Gym

The next Gym will be one of the hardest gym's I have to face, as every pokemon on my team is weak to Ice types :(

Rollout.

If you haven't deleted it already, then it will be very useful against Pryce so long as you don't miss.

And I don't see why Mantine can't be your ace against Pryce, he's part water.
