-Went and caught a Psyduck to replace my geodude, as it can learn rock smash, strength and whilrpool
-headed east from ekruteak to catch me a red gyarados
-Chinchou evolved on the way
-Caught the Red Gyarados and ironically caught e normal one on the way back to shore
-Cleared rockets out of Mahogany
-Trained Feraligatr in the light house
-beat Pryce
-Surfed to Cianwood, training Lanturn along the way
-got jasmine's drugs
-beat Chuck. Focus punch helped
-Got HM02 and flew back to olivine

- Beat Sprout Tower
- Beat Falkner. Hard fight. Used Gastly to put his pokemon to sleep, then I got really lucky with Spinarak's Poison Sting hitting well and them not waking up too much.
- Looked for a Zubat in the Union Cave for a while and found a shiny one~~~!~!!~@
- Got to Azalea, caught a Venonat in the Ilex Forest.

Heart Gold Update:

-Caught the red Gyarados
-Got through the Rocket Hideout. It wasn't that hard, especially since the grunts had underleveled Pokes
-Beat Pryce. Dewgong was VERY annoying with its Rest/Sleep Talk combo. Though I did think it was very funny when it used Rest from Sleep Talk. Thankfully Piloswine was a piece of cake thanks to Mantine.
-Decided to keep Titan (Gyarados) on the team in place of Mantine. I was an idiot though and taught her Blizzard (bought from Goldenrod), only to later delete it in favor of Ice Fang (because it's physical and has more PP)
-Beat Silver. The only real difficulty was Magnemite since it paralyzed Zangetsu. He also had another suicidal Haunter that used Curse.

Well, I finally played a bit.

-Started, got a Totodile
-Did boring beginning stuff
-Used Totodile to beat Sprout Tower plus Falkner
-Got Old Rod, and immediately caught Poliwag and deposited Totodile

Thats it for now I'll probably play more when I havent been up since 5am.

I played today and beat Team Rocket in Celadon.

ok progress so far:

started with a charmander fought gary's squirtle and won
headed out did the delivery job to get the pokedex then the map
headed to viridian city then towards the indigo platue to fight gary for the second time
lost to him so i trained my charmander a little more tried again and won
train a little bit then headed through the viridian forest with ease
fought the gym trainer took him out
left the gym to train a little more
evolved my charmander into charmeleon got him to lv 18
fought brock and beat him quite easily with ember

Fought and annihilated gary went across nugget bridge
Met bill
Went to vermillion caught an oddish to use as hm slave
Got cut off ss anne
Beat electric gym easily
Went back to cerulian and went through rock tunnel without flash
Passed through lavender town and headed to celadon city
Caught a growlithe on the way J
Trained growlithe on rt 7 got him to lv 23
Went to game corner and into the rocket area
Tried usin growlithe but he fainted
Used my lv 42 charizard to beat Giovanni
Got eevee from some guy
Went and bought 2 fire stones
Evolved eevee into flareon and growlithe into arcanine
