It's been a while since I've done one of these, and this will probably be a fun way to swing back into it. Okay, I take the Ultimate Monotype Challenge!!! Sign me up for Grass please!

I cursed my way to badge from Goldenron City. I felt great. I left the gym, and made my destination to the next city, Ecruteak City. I tried to make the gym challenge, but he was not there. I decided to take a break and watch the beautiful Kimono Girl's dance. It was amazing. I heard that there was a prixe if I could beat them. So, I challenged the pretty faces to a battle. They were magnificent. It was a sight to behold, all the different pokemon. I got hold of an HM3. I checked the gym again, there was no answer. A sickly old man told me he went to the burnt tower. So, I entered. I talked to him, and his friend for a minute before continuing. Then, I battled my rival. After crumpling him up, I fell through a hole! It was good though, I caught a glimpse of the three legendary dogs,Entei, Raikou, and Suicune! They were fascinating. I returned to the gym with Morty and made my challenge. After getting through his traps, I challenged him. It was a scare off! My ghosts happened to be scarier, and I won. I left with a badge, and headed towards Olivine City. The next gym would be tough, so I decided to train on the route. As a result, my Pokémon became tough. I was pumped, nothing could stand in my way!

I have beat the Hoenn Elite 4! Will upload videos when they're done converting XD (Will edit the post with them :P) Heracross ONE SHOTTED Metagross with a non crit Brick Break, I was like O.O Whoever told me he was available, I <3 You :P Considering he took out like 3/5 of the elite 4 alone, haha.

Pokemon Ruby "Blog" Part 9: The Bug Champion of Hoenn!

After gaining my final badge for Hoenn, it was time to fight through Victory Road. In order to do this, I had to carry Marill and Tropius with me (Tropius for Flash), and I went on. Inside, I fought through with ease, and finally reached the ending, but Wally showed up wanting to prove his strength.

With some help from Flit and Funster, Wally fell, and it was at the pokemon league I ended up!

I flew back to Mauville City for some training with my favorite group of people using the Trainers Eyes, and then I was ready to take on the league!

Oddly, they were somewhat pathetically easy, except Steven... haha.

Finish up Hoenn though Steven was a pain. I was lucky i did not have to grind up really badly.

E4 Sidney
Started with sending Ninja out and sword danced up along with speed boost then baton passed all my attack and speed up to killa then swept.
E4 Phoebe
Ninja Sword danced up and showdown balled till i was in the red then baton passed to Low for the win
E4 Glacia
Ninja is becoming the MVP here. Swept though no her with trouble.
E4 Drake
Hard, hard, hard Alla saved me by ice beaming his salamance for the win. Kingdra was not so hard now that i had killa.
E4 champion Wallace
Not that hard same strategy as with Sidney.

After becoming the champion i head to fight the best trainer of all of hoenn, Steven. He was a pain, it took 6 different tries to beat him but the ninja-killa combo pulled off in the end.

Okay, after playing Blue Version for the entire day, I've decided to post a simplified (hopefully) synopsis of my progress so far.

-Chose Bulbasaur as my starter
-Defeated Brock w/ Bulba at Lv15
-Caught Paras & trained it to Lv13
-Arrived at Cerulean, Beat Gary
-Caught Bellsprout
-Started grinding like crazy
-Paras evolved
-Bulba evolved (if you're wondering why that happened a lot later, I wanted Razor Leaf early)
-Traveled to Vermilion, Bellsprout evolved shortly after
-Swept through the SS Anne
-Backtracked to Cerulean and defeated Misty
-Went to Vermilion & Defeated Lt. Surge
-Traversed Rock Tunnel without Flash
-Got to Lavender, but went straight to Celadon (Ivysaur evolved on the way)
-Went through Rocket Base
-Went through Pokemon Tower, Beat Gary again
-Took the cycling Road to Fuschia
-Caught 3 Exeggcutes in the Safari Zone while getting the necessary items there

Super Smash Brothers Brawly

After exiting Rustboro gym, the man who was looking for Shroomish came out of the Devon Corporation building, chasing a man wearing red garb.
I decided to help him out, so I risked my life defeating a pooch again. Oh wait.. It would've been that weird Wingull that'd be killed, but of course, this a Pokemon game..

Anyway, after rescuing Peeko, Mr Briney searched through his heart and let me use his ship to get to Dewford town. I had an errand to give a letter to a man called Steven who has an odd love for rocks and fossils.
While in the Granite Cave, I caught Stallion the Makuhita, so I was well on my way party wise!
The letter was delivered, so it was time to take on Brawly after some training was done. During the training, Brealeg evolved into Breloom. Now I can finally use her in battles!

Brawly was overall fairly easy. He's harder than Roxanne but still easy enough to cause no problems.

Shocking Experiences

So I was finally finished in Dewford, I asked Mr. Briney to give me a lift to Slateport, where I will explore the port city and make my way to Mauville where the 3rd gym leader recides. However, before that I had to pay a visit to Cpt. Stern to deliver some submarine parts, so I did just that. He turned out to be at a mueseum where Team Magma were invading! What luck! Now I have to go and destroy them don't I?

Well, I did just that, but who cares? For my efforts I got gratitude, but that's it. However, it was made up for when I met May in Route 106, she gave me an Itemfinder after I kicked her butt. :)
In Mauville, the first thing I saw was Wally. Wally was in the way, so I had to defeat his easy to defeat Ralts with Stallion, who evolved into Hariyama!
Now that I have a Hariyama, I have a decent tank!

Beat Brock!
Was as hard as i expected really, geodude wiped out my pidgey. Being careful with Rattata on Onix payed off though using tail whip throughout the Bide process.

I think it was stated earlier in the thread that you can use starter to help level other pokes near the start.
Anyway, i reckon its fair to do that, as long as Piplup isn't used for gyms etc.

Chapter 1: VS Brock
Starting off my adventure, I've gone with the name Rii-Chi. Naming my rival Blue (lazy to change) began my Poison type adventure in Kanto. Trying to leave Pallet Town, I met Prof. Oak who gave me a Pokemon. I chose Bulbasaur because it was part poison, naming it Venus :P Blue had decided to choose Charmander, and challenged me to fight.

Barely beating my rival, I headed off to Viridian City doing little training. Heading off to the PokeMart, I got a parcel for Prof. Oak. Giving the package to the address person, Blue and I recieved a Pokedex which stores data.

Heading into the Viridian Forest and obtaining a Weedle, I did some serious training trying to get them to a decent level, Weedle evolved all the way to a Beedrill. Venus had learned Vine Whip which was the way to defeat Brock with a clean sweep.

Chapter 2: VS Misty
After obtaining my Boulderbadge, I headed off to find myself a Zubat in Mt. Moon, along the way, Venus evolved into an Iyvsaur, heading towards a Venusaur.

Entering Mt. Moon after healing, a was lucky enough to find a level 9 Zubat when I first entered. Despite that, I still had to train it until it learned Bite. Defeating trainers and grunts, I recieved a Helix Fossil for myself.

When I reached Cerulean City, I went to fight Blue for some experience and to find an Oddish up ahead. After catching the Oddish, it leveled up pretty quickly after several trainers. Reaching Bill's house and turning him back human again, I recieved an S.S. Anne ticket.

Coming by the Cerulean to train a little, I headed off to the gym. Clearing the trainers without an effort, I challenged Misty to win a badge. The overall battle was easy, but Misty's Starmie put up a nice fight.
