Sorry, I haven't been able to play that much, I've been busy, but here's an update.

Caught a Voltorb and taught it Flash.
Entered Rock tunnel.
Taught Maniac Rockslide, forgot Rock throw.
Got to Lavender Town.
Entered Pokémon Tower.
Defeated Rival.
Toughest battle yet, Maniac and Squadz really came through for me but damn Mannifesto was to put to sleep by Eggxcute (SP?) then torn apart by Confusion and Leech seed. Luckily Squads beat Eggxcute (SP?) with next to no HP to spare but then Kadabra and Gyarados where no mach for Maniacs Roll-out.
Realised I needed a Pokémon with a fire move if I ever hope to take down Dexus in the E4.
Defeated all Channeler's.
Left tower.
Went south to battle the trainers.
Defeated all trainers.
Went west to Route 8.
Defeated all trainers.
Got to Celadon.
Obtained Eevee.

I defeated the Elite Four and now I am waiting outside the door that leads to Cynthia.

Aaron - Second easiest battle, at first it was really difficult, but once I battled him about twice I got used to his team and what would work against which pokemon. Yanmega was the most difficult, I had some good luck with Confuse Ray to beat him. Drapion was also difficult, but after some Barriers, Jelly just took a few turns to defeat it.

Bertha - Definitely the easiest of the E4. Rosy's Grass Knot defeated everyone but Gliscor, who was defeated by Jelly's Blizzard.

Flint - Second most difficult, I needed my whole team to defeat him. Houndoom fell to Croaky's Revenge, and Flareon and Rapidash to Tentacruel's Surf, but Magmortar and Infernape were difficult. Batty's Fly and Confuse Ray eventually defeated Infernape, but I needed a few revives, and a lot of Moomoo Milk to defeat Magmortar. Tentacruel got a critical hit with Surf, so I got lucky there.

Lucien - Definitely the most difficult. Psychic > Poison, so that was expected. He easily took out most of my team quickly, the only useful members were Scorpy and Jelly, and Rosy's Shadow Ball was a bit useful. Bronzong was the most difficult pokemon I had to face, that Steel typing is hard to get across when I have a Poison team, but Jelly's Surfs eventually took it down, after some Barriers to prevent too much damage from Earthquake.

Now I am getting ready to face Cynthia.

So, I caught a Weedle and evolved it into Beedrill, took down Brock with Giles' Vine Whip. Caught and trained a Zubat in Mt. Moon, swept through Misty's gym with Vine Whip again, and went to catch an Ekans and an Oddish. Had quite a bit of trouble against my rival, but Roy's Horn Attack saved the day. Blah blah blah, trained on SS. Anne, where Pomona and Snape both evolved. I'm going to go to bed now and beat Surge in the morning, Snape's Dig is ready for him!

Just cleared Nugget Bridge.

Today I easily swept through the Elite 4, every one of them was easy except Lance, who posed a bit of a problem with his Dragonites. After that I went on a rampage and beat everyone of the Kanto gyms, Caught an Electabuzz nicknamed Bell. and a Pikachu named Bolt, though Pikachu was useless and eventually dumped. I then grinded all of to level 60 and went to take on Red and beat him after a long grueling battle. I recorded a video but used the wrong format :P. I'll get it right next time.

I defeated Cynthia not too shortly ago, Garchomp was the only really difficult member of her team, though I needed a little luck to defeat Togekiss. Rosy defeated Spiritomb with two Grass Knots. Togekiss was defeated after a few Ice fangs from Scorpy, with a lucky Freeze to help me defeat it. Milotic faced Jelly, and could do hardly any damage, so I just stalled and healed my Pokemon. After I used barrier three times I defeated it with Poison jab, and Garchomp came next. Three Earthquakes would have been needed to make Jelly faint. Only two Blizzards were needed to defeat it, but I needed to use Moomoo Milks a few times so I wouldnt faint. Lucario was defeated by Croaky's Revenge, and Roserade was defeated by Batty's Fly.

So yeah I'm still on generation 1, caught a bunch put them in the box so I could get Flash, went through Rock Tunnel, just got to Lavender Town for my fire challenge.

So yeah all I have is a level 45 Charizard at the moment for fighting I think, no other fire types shown up so far.
