Ultimate Monotype Challenge

Can you cross me off the Normal challenge list? I made it to sinnoh, and decided to quit.

However, can you ADD me to the psychic challenge list? I have a strange urge to use Hypno, and this seems like a good way to do that. Sorry about the trouble.

Well, it's certainly been a while since I was here (schoolwork, etc.). Unfortunately, I can't seem to find my Crystal to continue my Rock challenge atm, but I'm starting up an Ice challenge in my Blue and continue on from there. When I find my Crystal i'll continue with Rock.

Anyways, here's the start of my Ice challenge!
-Started my Blue and chose Squirtle to make my rival easier to beat...sort of.
-Traded a Lv. 5 Lapras from my Gold at first opportunity.
-Fought my rival. Took down Pidgey with two water guns and had a huge stall war with Bulbasaur. Thankfully, the AI decided to keep using leech seed because it was "super effective." Not to mention I got a crit.
-Headed north to Viridian forest and killed some bugs.
-Ran out of Water Gun and died to poison T_T
-Got out of the forest finally.
-Brock lost in 2 turns.
-Headed over to Mount Moon. Beat some trainers.
-Ran out of Water gun again against a bug catcher who refused to use anything but string shot. Beat him with struggle and gained a level :P
-After fighting an oddish and a bellsprout, I am wishing I had Ice Beam.
-I really need to start watching Water Gun's PP...
-Grabbed the Helix fossil, reminiscing of my unfineshed Rock Challenge...
-My rival showed up, but fell to the might of Water Gun. I had to put Bulbasaur to sleep with sing to avoid a beating.
-I won a shiny nugget!!1!
-Bill showed me his pokemans
-I went to fight Misty. Newly acquired Body Slam proved useful.
-Bubblebeam > Water Gun
-I took a ride on the SS Anne and my Rival was there, so I beat him to a pulp.
-Lt. Surge was easy to beat because he wasted his time using X Speeds instead of attacking me.
-Taught Lapras Thunder Bolt.
-Went back to Cerulean and saved. Rock tunnel next!

Just gonna do a quick update, not too detailed.
-Got to and through rock tunnel
-Fought my rival in Lavender Tower, as usual I won
-Went to Celadon and beat Erika (Ice Beam)
-Got through the Rocket game corner hideout. Giovanni was pathetic
-Saved Fuji back in Lavendar and got a flute
-Beat a snorlax and got a super rod
-Did some team building. Caught a Shellder (Bivalve) and a Poliwhirl
-Traded the Poliwhirl for a Jynx in Cerulean. Name was Lola
-Grinded them to respectable levels.
-Beat Koga in Fuscia, and got Surf and Strength
-Flew to Pallet to surf down to Cinnibar
-Upon reaching Cinnibar, I realized I had forgotten Sabrina, so I went and beat her easily
-Went back to Cinnibar and saved game

Well since I joined the challenge yesterday i played through Red and beat the Elite Four in 1 day, i ended with a team of:

And I started Pokemon Crystal and so far I have just defeated the Elite 4

Flying challenge update:

-Worked on boosting Zubat's happiness (haircuts, Soothe Bell, etc.)
-Forgot to get the squirt bottle in Goldenrod, so I went back, then caught myself a Sudowoodo
-Then I forgot I could get a bike there, so I went back and got that
-Zubat evolved after beating my rival (named Silver) in Burned Tower
-Beat Morty with Golbat, and thanks to Pidgeotto, since Gengar's Shadow Ball couldn't hurt it
-And after the battle, Golbat evolved! It's pretty awesome having a Crobat following you around
-Wouldn't you know it, I decided to go back to Goldenrod again, so I could change Pidgeotto's and Crobat's names
-I'm probably going to train Tempo more, since it's getting neglected as a Pokemon I use in battle

I completely ran through the Steel gym with Riptide, and then after beating a couple of commanders, went north to Snowpoint. The gym was in my opinion the easiest gym I have ever faced. Hydra one hit everything except for Candice's Abomasnow (which took 2 hits) with Flamethrower and the Sneasel, which I took out with one Focus Blast from Motor. So, I checked out the final lake, and after seeing my rival lose miserably (seriously, how is he my rival when he is that weak) I went to the Galactic Headquarters, saved, and quit.

It was a very easy battle with only my Sudowoodo fainting and OHKOing everything except for Espeon (got 2HKOed) and Blastoise...which was a pain

Another update:

-Surfed down to Cinnibar and beat Blaine. Not hard to beat since Nessie has surf...
-Returned to Viridian and beat giovanni the same way.
-Got through Victory road and took on the Elite 4!

-Lorieli: I pretty much just sent out Nessie and spammed thunderbolt. I used Bivalve to wall Jynx since I had nothing else to beat it.

-Bruno: Surf for his Onix, Psychic for everything else. Really easy to beat.

-Agatha: Psychic destroyed her whole team, especially since there are no real Ghost attacks in this generation

-Lance: Swept with Nessie. Thunderbolt killed Gyarados, and Everything else was OHKO'd by Ice beam.

-Blue: Bivalve was actually useful in that it stalled out Alakazam, but Nessie and Lola took on everything else.

First leg COMPLETE!

Very situational, only sent it out if Nessie and Lola couldn't handle it, which wasn't very often. When that wasn't the case, Bivalve was good for the following reasons:

Well, Kanto was fast to get through, but now I'm on to what is always the hardest part of this challenge: Johto. I've already started up, as I beat Kanto a while ago now and just never posted the update. I'm going to be very brief in by Johto update so far (I'm doing Silver version. Not SS.)

-Beginning stuff, gave Rival a chikorita
-Traded over Lv. 5 Swinub named Oinker. I was not feeling very original.
-Continued on with my journey, beating trainers on the way to Violet City
-Beat the Sprout Tower. Lv. 3 bellsprouts weren't too much of a challenge...
-Challenged Falkner. It was a tough battle, but Powder Snow helped me out a lot.
