    I think Inteligence Systems is trying to kill us...

    The 9th Fire Emblem has been anounced!
    This time, it will be the third Fire Emblem Game in GBA!
    (Gee...whatever happened to the first FE game in GameCube?)

    They better bring this to America, but I'm worried because they still haven't brought FE6 to America and haven't mentioned anything about bringing FE8 over...I'm worried that FE didn't sell well enough for them to pour more money into the American versions...Eirik and Ephraim look cool though...they kind of remind me of Reane and Tear ^_^

    Am I wrong in being unconfident about more Fire Emblem games coming to America?
     
    FE8 has been announced in E3...it's coming here in America.

    My guesses:

    If Nintendo makes a video game in the game cube and makes another one with an almost similar title for gameboy advance, there might be a possibility that you can link them together....
     
    Aha! Interesting guess; I would say that there will be linking features since the announcements of these games were so close together.

    Do you know if FE8 takes place in Elibe or not? I'm sort of hoping it does, but I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't...there have been four FE continents already, right? Marth's continent, the FE2 continent, the continent from FE4/Thracia 776/Geneaology, and Elibe, right? It seems as if they don't linger on one continent for too long, but I'm accustomed to Elibe so I suppose that's why I'm hoping FE8 and 9 take place there...

    Oh, and would you suppose FE6 might be released this Christmas season like FE7 was last year, or would it more likely be released a while before FE8 comes to gamecube to renew interest in the series?
     
    It's rumored that FE8 and 9 have the same plot basis as Geneology/Thracia. (Happening at the same time; "Gaiden")Then again...it might not be true.

    FE8 doesn't happen in Elibe (Sadly) However, FE9 is said to have the same engine as FE6 and 7 since it's in GBA.

    Here are some screens: If you look at the sprites, they look similar to that of FE 6 and 7.

    So it looks like you can move from place to place on the map...does this mean no chapters or a lessened story? It does look like a throwback to older Fire Emblem games in some ways...I just hope it has all the features of the newer FE games (and nothing new! I don't feel like adapting o_o;; ) This could possibly be made in this style intentionally, as to make newer FE fans have a taste of what the older games were like...from those screens I can tell that there will be lords, Peg Knights, and Bishops/Healers, but that's all for now. It looks like the capture objective will be back, which will be a big shock for us since FE7 only had one capture level on it (Crazed Beast)...I have too many questions I think @_@

    Reane and Tear? *Blinks* Yeah, they kinda do...
     
    They really are cool! XD

    I just hope they keep the druids and stuff... I don't like it when those previous FE games have one mage per cattgeory... (and there's like a lot in Geneology)
     
    They should make their Cavaliers come down from their horses and attack once in a while...like the older ones...it's really cool but they took that off...
     
    And it would be nice if we could finally use poison weapons in this one...I'm tired of the enemies being the only ones with them =/

    They do kind of look like them, but Tear's hair is a bit more spikey, and a darker blue hehe....

    Speaking of blue, more blue-haired lords!
    Yup....

    I'm actually more excited for this one then I am for the Gamecube one, (though I sort of based Tear off the lord in that one hehe) unless they change how the GCN one looks. I've just always liked the idea that it was portable.....
    You know, FE would make an awesome Nintendo DS game! With it's touch-screen feature, you can move your troops on the map! Or something like that, hehe..

    Yes, I really wish we could use Poisonous weapons.... It'd be nice to see the enemies screaming in agony for once. XP

    I think defeating them is agony enough hehe.... though it would be really cool to use them!

    Huh? Cavaliers could get off their horses!? I had some growing suspicion.... it would seem like common sense!

    Oh, and I actually kind of thought you based her off Lyn or Rebbeca,since she does hold a small resemblence.

    I can't tell you how long it took me to think up the name Tear. I was considering calling him Jordan like in the other FE RP, but it just seemed kind of strange.
    Besides, I kind of like the name Tear now!
