    Hello there.
    I go by the username of Lord Darkwalker in most places, but friends call me by many other nicknames.
    While roaming around the internet, I kinda stumbled onto this website and decided to give it a try. Hopefully I'll stick around for a while and get to meet some of you....

    Anyway, as for a little bit of myself, I'm a 19 year old guy from Texas, USA, and I've been hooked into the world of Pokemon since I was a little kiddo back in the days of Red and Blue. Recently I have gotten into breeding pokemon (though I have yet to touch IVs, Evs and the such). For years I have been roleplaying as different characters (hence the many nicknames that I have) in random fandoms from Pokemon to more obscure stuff like Zombie Apocalypses and other things to get my creative thoughts running.

    At the moment I am a sophomore in college, studying English Literature and Journalism. I am hoping to one day become an author, but settling for a job as an editor of some kind. I'm kinda shy and awkward at times, but feel free to talk to me! Some of my hobbies include Reading, Writing, Listening to all kinds of music, Playing games from Video games to table-top games... yea the list goes on but I'm drawing on a blank at the moment....

    • Math (....it's the bane of my existence)
    • My glasses disappearing (I'm as blind as a zubat without them)

    My favorite pokemon are Typhlosion, Gallade, and Eevee.

    You've already written quite a huge bio so we know what you love already but now I just need to recommend the sections you might be interested in. Based on what you mentioned I'd recommend Video Games, Roleplay Theatre, Fan Fiction & Writing, General Entertainment and Anime & Manga, so tons there for you to stay entertained.

    Good luck and hopefully you can stick around for a long time because it'd be sad if you vanished without notice. Enjoy your time with us and I'll see you.

    Writing is great. It's one of my favorite hobbies too but not something I can see myself doing as a career long-term, especially since it's generally a rough field to get into without a plan B. The roleplay forum here would be great to dive into for you so hopefully it'll be one of your stops during your stay. Hope you'll publish some writing in the future as well.. the writing forum could use more love around here. That said, enjoy your time and stick around. [:
     
    Hey, welcome to PC! I don't really do much breeding myself, I don't do serious competitive battling unless it's just screwing around on Showdown with my friends. It's cool that you're into it though! Anyway, I like Typhlosion and Eevee as well! I prefer Gardevoir over Gallade myself but I still think it's pretty cool. Anyway, we have a Fan Fiction & Writing board on this forum, so go check it out if you want to share what you've done.

    You're studying English Literature and Journalism? I envy you.. My dream is to be involved in Journalism but I ended up being a Psychology major instead :pink_smile:
    I really like your dislike list.. I also feel blind when I take off my glasses :pink_nod: and happen to hate not-so-great food and Math too :pink_boogie:

    Hey Lord Darkwalker, welcome to PC 8)

    It seems we share quite a few things! I'm studying Literature (as well as Politics) at uni as well! I'd love to become an author but I see it more as something I do on the side to something else, at least until I become established ;) And like you, I've been playing since the very start as well - there are a surprising amount of us long-time fans here.
