Underrated hoenn pokemon

Yup, gotta go with Sableye for sure on this. One of my top three favorites because of how underappreciated it is.
 
Flygon is pretty underrated. It had decent offenses and Speed, though it doesn't have the best movepool out there.
 
sableye definitely but what about banette? i ditched marshtomp cuz sableye is so much more better. but im sad cuz my platinum got deleted and marshtomp was on it oh well. And what about the battery bros. Plusle and Minun????!!!!??>?!!??!!!!??

Flygon is underrated? Since when? ive used him on every one of my hoenn teams.
 
Sableye, Mawile, Plusle, Minun, Huntail, Tropius, Torkoal. A lot really. Most of the Hoenn Pokemon are underrated, Salamence, Gorebyss, Metagross etc being the exceptions.

Since when is Gorebyss underrated? It's only of the most feared Pokemon in the competitive world. .__.
 
Sableye, like a lot of people are saying.

Ive found Swalot to be okay, actually. It works well as a staller, I think. It has the stats and movepool for it.

Huntail is also pretty good with Shell Smash and Baton Pass. As far as I know, most Shell Smashers lack the ability to give their boosts to another Pokemon. And if you run a special set, it has more surprise factor than Gorebyss.

In my opinion, pretty much all NU Pokemon are underrated at least a little bit. Hoenn has a lot of NU Pokemon, so I would argue that the majority of Hoenn Pokemon are underrated.

Wow, I actually totally forgot about all those Pokemon, LOL. I remember Swalot though and Gorebyss, but just barely. Huntail I totally forgot about though! I recoginze it when I see it, but I never remember what its name is or what it looks like. Now, I want to relearn all the Pokemon I forgot about LOL.
 
Sableye is good because it has no weaknesses and it can learn moves as if its a normal type like heatblast dig chargebeam and heaps more. If you get a cheat device you can give it wonder guard which makes it untouchable. Litearaly!!!!!!!!1
 
Pelipper!

They are simply the best Pokémon ever, in-game especially. Surf, Ice Beam, Shock Wave. It's almost impossible to not become champion.

Flygon's heavily used, but those pseudo-legendary dragons always seem to enjoy more popularity. I do much prefer Flygon's looks and overall capabilities, though.

I never used Sableye; no weaknesses is apealing but sadly Sableye doesn't have very high stats. I imagine it could still be useful, particularly as an annoyer, especially with Fake Out.

Shiftry
Hariyama
Solrock
Tropius

I don't know how generally underrated they are, but they're the ones my friends don't seem to like but I do.
 
I cannot beleive he hasnt been mentioned yet, this is my all favourite pokemon

How can you not love him. He's a druken panda!!! And everyone is different/unique. Alright maybe his stas srnt the best but that wonbt stop me lovng him. And I like how his movesets and abilitys are to do with confusion. Hes like the number one confusion pokemon :D

...Marshtomp and Sableye aren't even similar though. Anyway, I'd say Sableye as well. I used it my first time in Sapphire and have always liked it. Helps to have it when you fight Brawly and Wattson, especially if you started with Treecko. And lol Plusle and Minun are just...no. Useless abilities in gen III. Who honestly wants to use them together in a double battle, other than AI?

Anyway, moving this to PGC, since we're starting to get into gen V stats and abilities and not just gen III.

Sableye isn't used due to its stats, I would of used Nosepass though if it had a bit more in its stats, same goes for Torkoal, but Nosepass got an evolution...
 
Gorebyss is so freaking good, that people yell at me for using mine. Why do people think it sucks in the first place? Well it's nice when I start a battle and people laugh at me for using Gorebyss and then they cry when they lose because of it.
Most efficient smash passer IMO.

Also I love Sableye. I have a Sableye build that easily scares people in competitive play.
