I have an awesome Moxie Mightyena with Thunder Fang in my Alpha Sapphire and he's a total boss. Even the Poochyena you get in the DexNav tutorial is great, with how hard those elemental fangs hit early on, but if you ever have the time to DexNav a HA Poochyena I recommend you try it.
 
I think another of my notable DexNav captures was a Trubbish with Rock Blast. I didn't even know Trubbish could learn that move, but I do feel proud of him because he's got a special move. He's now a happy Garbodor that gets rotated every now and then.

I also got an Oddish with three perfect IVs (HP, Defense and Sp. Atk) with a +Sp. Atk nature. She's now a Bellossom with some damn high Sp. Attack and I feel blessed with how strong she is.

DexNav can really bless you when you least expect it.
 
Would Liepard be underrated?
I use mine all the time, really loving it it's been very good in my teams and love it by design, I even use it in doubles - I haven't seen or encountered any other player using one.
 
Aw darn... now I feel bad, my Mightyena and Swellow were caught without DexNav XD

I like Liepard too! I'm going to be using it in my White 2 team :)
 
Slaking is a pretty decent candidate. I own a Slaking I use in the Battle Maison/Institute, and, while Truant sets it back slightly, let me tell you: When it gets to attack, it's going to do damage. And by damage, I mean DAMAGE. Giga Impact is utterly ludicrous on this thing. Not only is it super strong, but Slaking's Truant turn also counts as Giga Impact's recharge turn. It also gets perfect coverage, with some notable moves being Earthquake for Steel/Rock types, Shadow Claw/Night Slash for Ghost Types, and Play Rough for Fighting Types (Funnily enough, it actually doesn't do as much damage as Giga Impact, but you can switch out after). If it weren't for Truant, as Smogon said, this monster would be a top-tier Uber threat.

hah, i never used dex nav. Also i never planted berries. It was a lot of me just catching my 6 team members and not careing about catching anything else....lolz. I usually use my first catch of a pokemon regardless of nature and such. *Click* , "GOOD ENOUGH!"

I do that as well. Natures and genders don't matter to me... buuut if I came across a good DexNav 'mon, there's no way I was going to pass it up. I have a Play Rough Mightyena and Boomburst Swellow and I definitely appreciate the egg moves.
 
I raised a Hariyama for the first time in Omega Ruby, and it surprised me how good a physical sweeper it was. I'm only speaking about in-story gameplay, and I'm not sure how well it fares in competitive. But from the looks of it, it's not given much attention.

I love my Altaria, just one thing though when mega-evolving her she seems to lose her flying status (And was hit by an Earthquake fighting Groudon), did this happen to you at all?
 
Honestly, for me i would say Castform, even though his stats and movepool suck, weather ball was an interesting move, altough you did have to wait two turns before you could use it with the element that you wanted, due to having to rain dance etc, to change typing. To be honest, if it had more weather effects and forms, and a little power boost, it could really work.

Yeah, Mega Altaria is Dragon/Fairy type.
 
Chimecho and Swalot are too underrated Pokémon imo. Both were powerhouses in my team in OmegaRuby.

Swalot has access to a lot of cool moves earlygame, and can take on really bulky Pokémon with its bulk and by weathering down its opponents with Toxic, Rock Smash, etc. As it evolves and gains more moves, it's still quite powerful yet very bulky.

Chimecho is pretty powerful and Psychic + Fairy has quite good coverage. On paper it doesn't look great but it served me really well surprisingly enough.
