2nd Gen Union Cave and Lapras

Union Cave is a cave located in the Johto region. The main cave divides Route 32 from Route 33, though two other exits in the basement levels of the cave lead to the Ruins of Alph. A wild Lapras can also be encountered deep in the cave every Friday after Morty has been defeated.

Did you explore all of Union Cave? Anyone come back to finish exploring the cave after Surf was gotten? Ever know there was a Lapras waiting at the bottom most floor on Fridays?

I just got the lapras in the basement. Other than that I never went back in there.

I never went back to explore the bottom floor. It's sad because I was so tired of using Gyarados to Surf around on and Lapras is one of my favorites. I'm not sure if the idea of tucking away a Pokemon and not giving any type of clues as to it was there on specific days. It definitely could have been done a tab bit better.

I explored all of the Union cave but i didn't get Lapras until way later on in the game.

I think I defeated the lapras lol, and I probably missed tons of items.
