FireRed hack: UPDATE (2/3/2025) Pokémon Beta Gold Version Alpha 2

No, this is a remake of another romhack called "Pokemon gold 97 reforged", that completes gold and silver beta.

This hack is just a remake, It isn't a "new game" or something else.

I hope you understand and have a good day, thank you for comment
Just read about that suggestion and I think it's good idea but yeah i understand why you decid different. Unfortunate but understandable

Great graphics choice, and the custom GUI is pretty good as well. I will look forward to this game.

Hey there, I decided to give this a try for my eventual "best of February 2025" video (a monthly series I do about recently updated fan games and rom hacks) before realizing just how short the demo was. I did however want to leave some feedback.

First of all, the mapping is very nice, same goes for the UI on all fronts. Everything is very pretty and you should be proud of that!

My main concern is just how small the Pokemon variety is. Other than your starter, there's about 5 options for Pokemon on the playable routes. They're all very generic ones too, and unless I missed anything, it felt disappointing not being able to pick up one of the beta Pokemon.

Other than that thought, it's a really good start, and I wish you the best of luck working on this hack!

That's a bug that I don't know how to fix, if anyone knows something you can tell me that
There should be a patch out there somewhere that can get rid of the menu descriptions. I personally had used Modexe (I added the download to that with EM/FR INI's in the HMA Discord). But I know I had seen a patch somewhere, I just don't remember if it was here or whackahack.

You can fix it using HMA, but I didn't know how to do it at that time

Thank youuu!!!
I've added more pokemon as wild species, but the program I was using is really old and didn't save wild pokemon data.

Now I'm moving the entire project to decomp, so expect new features and better game quality for next alpha
