Wow 8 pages.. Probably the best Aprils Fools joke ever if it is, tho would be a much better joke if this were real and people thought it was a joke thus posting joke applications.. xD


Why I think I should moderate.. Ermm.. I'm never gonna get to for any other section.. xD Seeing no sane person would hire me.. xD

Ermm I found a working English Rom for both Heart Hold and Soul Silver. And yes I do have the link. *winkwink*

I'm somewhat lazy... I would use inappropriate talk during my vm interview.. I'm talking nasty.. xD

Ermm I found the HG/SS Rom on my own... :O

I laughed out load when I saw this. XD I checked real quick, and if harry really did resign then why would his account still be a mod? I also think is funny that tons of random people, who I never see in the rom hacking section all of a sudden want to be a mod, and they can't even hack. Some people caught on, but some where like PICK MEEEE!! haha

But for the spirit of fun I will apply. I am NarutoActor, or Lucas, if you want to be more formal. I am always on PC, and I have a lot of experience hacking. Also I will never move to Spain, there economy is terrible, and it is almost a socialist country.
 
well it seems this is still active so here is my shot
taking a sort of formal approach to this

My Attempt:

I am active on the ROM-Hacking scene. I am usually on PC for an hour or two each day. I would totally like to help out the PC ROM-Hacking section as much as possible. I realize that moderation is a very serious job and i would make that a personal goal of mine to work on each day. Another forum i am also active on Pixel art forum. I know the PC rules and expectations as well as the ROM-Hacking forum's rules. And i do my best to point out problems with threads and hacks.

Skills:
~Spriting - Pro
~ASM - none
~Scripting - Average/Learning
~Mapping - Pro
~Hex Editing - Learning

Criticism:
I like to be firm and supportive, and always constructive.

I thank NatureKeeper for an idea of how i should make this format wise

I'm fairly sure resignation isn't something that happens immediately, but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

They give a little while after the person in question resigns as a moderator; it differs depending on the situation. It'll probably be at max a week before Harry is demoted and Christos and Spherical Ice pick a new mod from this bunch.

Not necessarily. It's just to ensure that Harry is definitely not coming back - I mean, once his account is returned to normal member permissions, its unlikely that they'll set it back up as a moderator (after all, one of you are going to replace him, right?) so they're giving him a short time in which he keeps his moderator powers. After that, though, they're completely gone.

I see what you mean. I guess I forgot to look at the situation from all possible angles. Thank you for informing me.
 
@any one who thinks this is real.
If this is real then there should be some sort of test. Like you have to submit a script, or something; anything. The most random people are applying, and if this is real, I feel bad for the people who actually have a chance, and there application is under 7 feet of crud.

Being able to script dosn't make you a good Mod.

I'm sure Christos and Spherical Ice are smart enough to sift through the jokers and find the serious applications.

Last time I checked, when they do the normal modding thing, they just pick someone who looks good and they ask if they want the position. No test.
 
Christos isn't posting because Christos has a life!

You should like totally pick me to be a moderator because I am the hottest guida there is and all of these others are just ROM hacking wannabes.
I'm fairly familiar with ROM hacking and the like as I am currently working on two new hacks: Pokemon Nail Stylist and Hair Stylist Versions.


I've already memorized the rules :)

Let me mention that they do have the power to see your posts. If you're for real, they can tell by simply going through what you've done in the past on PC. Christos and Spherical Ice will be able to sift through the crap and find the real posts, good sir. They do have common sense. :D

What I'm trying to say is that there is no real need for any sort of testing. You don't have to prove yourself in this thread; you've already done so elsewhere.
