Suggestion: User Search Bar

So, here's a suggestion I noticed was missing from this forum. Under the search button, there is no user search. Shouldn't it be moved under the tab?

You can search for members. The member list is located right here: https://www.pokecommunity.com/memberlist.php

If you look to the far right up top, there's an option to search for members from there

To access the member list as well, just click on the More dropdown menu (varies on which style you're using possibly), and it should be there.

You can, but I don't think it's very clear that that exists unless you know about it. I mean, look at the username change thread - a lot of people don't read how to search for names on there and then say they don't know how so the name might be taken.

I think it would be cool if it was added to the search dropdown or the advanced search. Although Serious, I'm not sure what you mean by "what if you are searching for someone directly", how is the member's list search not helpful for that?

It might be possible that he didn't notice the 'Search Members' part of the Member's List. I think he knew that the list existed, but he might have overlooked the actual search portion for specific members.

Or I could be wrong. All I know is that function should be combined with the search dropdown/advanced search like you said. Eliminates a few extra steps and put's it in a more convenient and accessible location in my opinion.

In reply to everyone, I knew about the list, but didn't notice the search members tab. Maybe it should be moved directly to the "search" tab. Il rephrase my suggestion.

I thought this suggestion was pretty self explanatory from just the thread title. I support it, anyway. I tried adding it in there myself with one of my styles, but I couldn't figure out how to make it only search the member list. Would be mighty helpful!
