3rd Gen Using Cut also cut the Grass

In the first three generations of the Pokemon games, Cut didn't just cut down trees blocking your path. You could also cut down patches of grass. Well, of course, the grass regrows/respawns whenever you re-enter the route. Also, apparently Pokemon with the Hyper Cutter ability can cut more grass than Pokemon who don't have this ability.

While this is a relatively small feature at best... did you use cut to cut tall grass? I actually did do this in Generation III sometimes when I didn't wanna have to deal with wild Pokemon bothering me.

In any time I played the first 3 gens on my emulator since I never owned a physical copy of them... I only barely cut the grass. You only cut like, the area around you and it's more convenient to use repels anyway. Maybe it's actually more fun on the actual system, I dunno.

Maybe they could bring this feature back as like a purchasable lawnmower, that you can use to shave off grass and as an alternative to repels.

I used Cut to cut tall grass patches a few times in Sapphire version I believe, but it was a waste of time to cut tall grass since it would just grow back whenever you'd visit the place again.
