OOC: And now...I shall break out of school. I hope this screws up my life enough for you, Shiney.
Silver walked down the hallways towards the administration room, as he did every week or so. As he approached the door, it was slightly open already. Grinning at an oppertunity to do something utterly stupid, he kicked the door open and slid in the room on his knees, punching the air above him.
"What time is it?! It's time for me to get in trouble again!" Silver grinned and looked around. The room was empty. There were only two sheets of paper on the table in front of him. As he raised from the ground, he noticed one was a note telling him to write two pages on what he did, and the other was paper for the note. Another grin spread across his face as he sat down and began thinking up things he was charged with.
"Attempted suicide? Possession of a contained substance? Parking violation?! You can't even drive!" Silver's math teacher lowered the paper as he shrugged. She had never seen his handwriting, because he never did his homework.
"What can I say? He wrote it himself, I saw him do it." As Silver turned his back to the teacher to sit down, he gave the hint of his overconfident grin. As he took his seat near the window, his thoughts turned to his only true friend. Arianna. It made him sad knowing that he would never see her again.
The window is open...You're faster than any of them. You could make a run for it. Silver's bad voice kicked in, but he tried to shut it out.
No I can't. I can't run at all! I'm too slow!
Use the dog instincts. They'll tell you what to do. Just look at your hands! Silver looked down at his hands and noticed they looked a little swollen near the palm and fingertips. He pressed it, and it felt just like a pad on a dog's paw.
Never noticed before? You've had them all your life. While Silver's guard was down, his bad side took over. It made him stand up and stretch, then look at the window.
"Sit down! If you don't, I'll--" The teacher got no farther. Silver laughed the way an insane person would, then stopped and grinned. Without warning, he leaped out the window head-first and landed on his hands and feet. Without getting up from this position, he began to run. He ran to his home and leaped through the window to his room, shattering the glass. Bun-Bun the rabbit looked surprised.
<Freak boy is home! And how was YOUR day? Wait, it isn't over!> Silver ignored the rabbit's comments and picked up the cage. He divided it in half with a large piece of cardboard he found and filled the other half with clothes. Climbing back out the window, he ran to the street with the cage in hand.
<Where the **** are we going?!> The bad side released it's hold on Silver, and the normal boy looked around. Sirens wailed in the distance on one side, and on the other was a road leading out of town. The pads were still on his hands, and he could smell everything around him if he focused on it. What he expected was coming true.
"I'm becoming a dog?!
<Yeah, freak boy. I've known you were strange ever since I met you. Can we go back in now?> Silver looked around again, and there were no signs of cop cars. The sirens still rang as clear as day, though. There was only one solution he could thing of. Run. Run away from everything. Run to the one person who knew about strange mutations.
"Arianna." Silver opened the cage and picked up his bunny. He held Bun-Bun in front of him and began to run. His only guide was his heart, which he trusted more than himself right now.
