    For some reason my fossils are still key items and the scientist won't even take them (he says I don't have any. Probably because they don't show up as normal items)

    [Version 1.3.0] Pokémon Recharged Yellow


    Biggest change:

    • Changed male sprite to a custom one, made by Hyo!

    Changes:
    • Plenty of NPC graphics added, this will make npcs in the overworld reflect their trainer pics more accurately.
    • Pokémon icons up to Xatu finished, still a lot of them to do.
    • Uncensored Gambler trainer class and its texts.
    • Better dialogues for the policeman for the Squirtle event
    Bug fixes:
    • Lots of fixes to linking sprites, thanks Hyo for the bug report and sprite improvements!
    • Untested: Probably fix camera in the first rocket encounter, couldnt reproduce it but added some safety checks.
    • Fixed Brock rematch
    • Fixed fossils
    • Fixed sandshrew follower
    • Fixed Charizard sprite being broken in the credits scene
    • Fixed plenty of typos
    • Fixed vending machines
    • Fixed union room warp not working
    • Pokedex fixes
    • Day/morning evolution fixes
    • VS Seeker showing buggy remaining steps.
    • Fix Togetic follower
    Others:
    • Adjusted headbutt levels
    • Disabled Volt Tackle in pichu eggs due to legality reasons.

    Just tried the 1.1 version and I really like the new spritework, but I have encountered some weirdness with the in game clock. I'm emulating the game on android through Retroarch's mGBA core and:

    1) the in-game time is different from my device time, and

    2) in-game time seems to pass at a rate of 1 minute per real life second.

    Is this intended behavior?

    There is nothing wrong with the clock, the clock doesn't work with RTC, it has its own internal clock, just like the play time counter in the trainer card. It works at the same speed as Scarlet and Violet, but if you speed up it will accelerate for obvious reasons.

    Is there an easier way to set the clock? Every time I play it's night time so I'm missing everything in the day.

    Nice hack, although I hate Kanto anche that damned mouse

    very interesting, always wanted to play yellow! do you have any plans for making day night that is indeed based on rtc? also thank you for keeping gen 3 pss and no fairy Typing :)

    Biggest changes

    • Animated sprites are back! Special thanks to MoriyaFaith for making them, lots of really good edits to the vanilla ones. Extra credits to the CrystalDust team as well! If you put Battle Scene to Off they will get disabled, just like move animations.
    • New Copyright screen
    • Made battle trainer transitions faster, they were slower than FRLG in Emerald
    • Finished icons for Johto Pokémon, Hoenn ones still unfinished (they don't animate and plenty of them could look way better)
    • Added Masuda method for breeding
    • You can go into Ceruleans Cave after finishing the league

    Other changes:

    • Adjusted Global Exp. Share values (nerfed it)
    • Different GFX for item balls, tm balls have a yellow/orange tone now
    • Added gender-unbiased Nature Inheritance with the Eversone

    I know we spoke about it yesterday in RHH but I'm wondering if it could be mentioned on here that I made some of the sprites you're using as they weren't made specifically for the hack you said you got them from and it can be a bit misleading. I geniunely have no problems with you using them, I'd just appreciate it if I was credited appropriately on here.

    You also said the CrystalDust team was credited in the in-game credits and I don't see those credits in this thread and it needs to be addressed and updated

    So the custom sprites minus Pikachu are gone now? Will they return? I liked them more and they gave a fresh look to the game.

    Yeah they are gone unless someone can make second frame to them, which seems very difficulty since the original artists are no longer active in the community. I liked them too, but I had to choose.
