Well, here's an image of the version exclusive Pokemon this time around:
    [PokeCommunity.com] Version exclusive Pokemon [spoilers]

This is just based on the regional Pokedex, so there might be more. This does seem like a small number of exclusive Pokemon for each version. What do you think of this?

The one Pokemon I want most is in Moon Version. Because Ice Sandslash. I'm getting both versions so it just means at some point I'll be able to bank or trade over things.

I think the image has something wrong with it. The Trapinch line is in Moon, not Sun. (and the Goomy line is in Sun. not Moon)

If you look at this encounter table for Moon you'll be able to find Trapinch, whereas Goomy (and it's evolutions aren't found)

I think the dataminers got some stuff mixed up, like how there was an error that got the starter-exclusive elemental Hyper Beam variants and the Pledge moves mixed up (aka Frenzy Plant being listed on the entire Rowlet line's learnset instead of only being on Decidueye, and same for the other two starters with their respective moves, while the Pledges can be learned by the entire starter lines and not just the final stage). It's probably a situation similar to that.

I'm glad these don't effect either of my planned teams, quite surprised by some of them, though. They totally missed the opportunity to give Lunatone and Solrock version exclusives btw. ¬¬

I was thinking the same thing about Lunatone and Solrock. I wonder if they took them into consideration with the games. :'D

Really happy with the Sun exclusives! The Moon exclusives have a lot going for them too. Hope I can trade for a Dranpa and Vullaby early on!

Or even not putting them in the Alola Dex for that matter...

I initially had Pokemon Sun in my mind, but the one pokemon that changed it was the warewolf like midnight form of Rockruff's evolution.
