Game companies spend a lot of money on licensed swag, collectables, and other such items. From Funko POP figures, to collectors edition goodies, to hoodies, there are a lot of ways to collect real life items based off of our favorite games! Some companies even give out super rare collectables to fans who attend special events

Do you have a collection? Do you think that hoarding all these useless nik-naks is useless? Why? Why not?

Also, if you do have a collection, do post picture(s)!

    Go!

My absolute favorite thing I have is a Kane bobblehead that came with my copy of Kane's Wrath, the Command & Conquer game.

I personally enjoy collecting stuff from games. I've built a decent POP collection (though I'm sure some bigger collector than I will freak out that none of them are in their boxes(in fact I've thrown away all but one box))

    Spoiler:

I've also taken a liking to prints, though I've currently only one game print (but it's signed and numbered so that's pretty cool!)
    Spoiler:

I've a couple other things laying around my room that I'm too lazy to snap.

Hopefully now that I've shown my stuff other people will share theirs!

I'd love to collect things, altho it's sometimes a bit hard to get things over here plus things I usually want aren't out there haha

As a kid I always wanted all the buildings from the Command and Conquer universes cause they looked so cool I wanted to have those irl to play around with.

I have a few things here and there, but i'm really not into the whole Pop! figure thing - I don't find them all that aesthetically pleasing. Right now I prefer to display regular old game boxes with cool art, the two steelbooks I'll have by year's end, and then the odd figure or charm or lanyard. Things that are more dynamic and that have a bit more variety than the Pop! figures, which tend to look a little homogeneous to me. What would really be nice would be having some Nendoroids, but they're a bit expensive at $50+ a pop (no pun intended).

I have a few artbooks, doujins, Animal Crossing plushes (lol) and some figures. I was into the amiibo craze for awhile so I have quite a few of those as well. Oh, and I have a few pokemon nendoroids too!

Here are few of my Tales figures:

    Spoiler:

Not even the biggest fan of the series, but they looked nice so I went ahead and bought them. :)

I'm not much of a collector - I don't really have the space to display anything extra at the moment without making my room look cluttered, and the things I do want tend to be kind of expensive and I personally can't justify spending that kind of money on collectibles. The only collectibles that really interest me at the moment would be Amiibos, but they get pretty pricey/hard to find, if you want the more popular ones.

I do have some small Final Fantasy figurines somewhere, will try to get a photo of them tomorrow. And when Dissidia first came out, they had those limited edition "Potion" cans, and I bought the Tidus one, which still sits on my shelf (I know, odd choice and unpopular opinion, but I like Tidus :P). But yeah, that's kind of the extent of my video games merch, plus a few shirts here and there.

Not a collector but I have:

3 Funko Pop (Iron Man, She Hulk, Tekken King)
    She Hulk Diamond Select Figure
A few Steelbooks (FF13:2 FF13:LR, Perfect Dark Zero, Pokemon Sun)
Small Solgaleo figure with pre-ordering Sun
Some Final Fantasy 8 figures (Selphie, Zell, Irvine, Squall, Rinoa, Angelo). Had them all but some got lost in various moves along with the weapons.
FF13 Fang Figure with weapon. Think it is the Play-Arts one.
    Princess Peach Amiibo. (Smash Bros)
Pokemon Silver 3DS Box. - Nostalgic

Hmmm... People look like they have some pretty cool collections!

One thing I forgot to ask:

Do you like prints or similar things (Physical fan art, or even those posters included with some games (like Halo 3 or Skyrim)

I like them, but once again not having them all bothers me xD I still have some maps I got with Oblivion/Skyrim sitting around.

I only buy games to have the game, and the box to store it in. The extra stuff is fine if I also wanted it but it if isn't something I was after when I purchased the game, then it's not going to become something I care about suddenly once I own it. It's rare enough that I do get extras with what I buy and even then, they aren't worth the hassle of selling to make a couple of dollars.

The only thing I can think of is a Lugia figure that came with a pre-ordered version of Pokemon SoulSilver. It did seem kind of well done though, and I still have it. :D
