Two Pokemon that were revealed through the use of PowerSaves, along with Diancie. You can find more information about them on Serebii (V, Hoopa). Now that we know that Diancie is going to be revealed through a movie, how do you think these two event legendaries will officially be revealed to us? Another movie? Gamefreak just saying "Hey, surprise, another legendary!"? And finally, what do you think of the two in general?

While not revealing them through a movie or something isn't all that exciting, I'd rather that they just reveal them to us through CoroCoro or something and distribute via WiFi/Mystery Gift. I don't feel like driving to the "nearest" movie theater that's doing the event and bringing my 3DS with me.

Volcanion is the one that interests me the most, since it has an interesting type combo: Water/Fire.

Agreed. Water/Fire looks so interesting. Steam Eruption probably has some wicked animation, too (I think he's the only one that learns it?)

And as for a movie release, the DS XL doesn't fit in some pockets. D:

I keep forgetting that these two exist because they do not interest me at all. I don't know why, Hoopa seems kind of fun and Volcanion looks beastly, but they just slip my mind constantly.

I'm really, really excited for Hoopa, and I hope its distribution won't be anything too inconvenient. As for Volcanion, it looks pretty cool, but overall, I don't really care too much about it.

And unless both Hoopa and Volcanion get megas, I can't see either of them getting their own movie, so I'm hoping that their reveals will coincide with the release of ORAS in some way or another.

After looking at Volcanion's moves, I think it could have something to do with ORAS. Many of its moves are weather based which would go great with the theme of nature in ORAS. It also learns weather ball. I wouldn't be surprised if it were revealed and has something to do with the weather institute.

It would be awesome if they first appear in a movie and then after you watch the movie and download the Mystery Gift it would unlock a small story of the legendary Pokemon.

The name "Volcanion" reminds me of volcanoes, but this Pokémon doesn't quite resemble them. If it had, it would've looked a lot like Camerupt, I'm sure. Its design itself isn't too bad, though; I think it's pretty unique. Most of its body look sort of metallic, so I would've liked it if steel were one of its typings.

As far as Hoopa goes, I'm a huge fan. To me, it looks pretty adorable. I'm not sure how they'll be introducing it to us, but movies would be my best guess. Either way, I'm really looking forward to getting a hold of this Pokémon legitimately, should they ever plan to distribute it!

If I understand it right, Volcanion is based off of geothermal features and geothermal power, hence the Fire/Water type combo. Geothermal features are usually created by water being heated up from magma underground. So volcanoes, basically. Though you'd think that maybe they'd try to make that easier to pick up on. Maybe Thermion or something would've been better for a name, idk.

Aside from that, it doesn't seem much natural, either (it looks more robotic), so in my opinion, fire/water type combo doesn't exactly suit this Pokémon, sadly.
