VPNSecure offerring lifetime VPN for $39

What's the catch?

There's always a catch, like how that Hola! app sold your bandwidth in return for access to foreign versions of Netflix etc. which meant people were unwittingly aiding cyber attacks.

Presumably this won't be that bad, but unless "lifetime" means anything but, then I just don't see how they'll be able to afford to give you it for such a low fee. Is it a true VPN or is it like what Opera offers?

it's a true VPN, it's a limited time deal, and I've been using their service for a while now (since I posted this, actually) and I'm very happy with it.

This is still "ending in 5 days".
Make of that what you will.

I feel like this backs up my scepticism without justifying or disproving the reasons behind it.

EDIT: I've been writing an essay so I'm literally making everything overly-complex, sorry.

I meant I didn't know VPNs went for $400+ lol, that's waaayyy more than I would've expected :O
These are lifetime subscriptions though, which means a one-time payment to access the service and you wouldn't have to pay for it ever again. In most cases, usage of a VPN service are often done with monthly payments of ≤$10/month.
