Ned sat on one of the steel seats provided. He felt completely lost now. The only thing that would uplift his spirits is if he was told that everyone was going to the same place. But the driver wouldn't utter a word to him. This scared him. He wanted to be with his sister. He was supposed to protect her, not let her go missing. Now they're both missing, and neither Ned or Heather now where each other are going.
The truck gave a rough pull and came to a stop. The front door was opened and there were footsteps heard on the outside. A few seconds later, the back door opened and Magma members stood before them.
"Alright get out of here," said one of the Magma members.
Ned slowly stepped aside from them and jumped onto the hard ground, and looked around. It was like a military base. Every square inch of it. The teams seemed to have picked a spot that was left barren to stay. And that's where he was going to stay too. Soon, more trucks started arriving carrying others.
The rest of the people in the truck were already out and a Magma grunt pushed Ned. "Well don't just stand there," he said, "get moving."
"Um—where?"
"Follow him," said the Magma grunt. He pointed to an Aqua grunt that was just a few yards away from him.
Sighing, Ned walked with the Aqua along with everyone else.

Jason had managed to get out of the Safari Zone without getting killed. He looked at his Pokéball which contained his Mightyena. He didn't know how long it would take before he could have him accompanying him, but there was one thing he was sure of. He was never going to leave Mightyena in his Pokéball again.
After running for a long while, he stopped to take a rest. He sat on a rock and looked down at the grass. His mind was going towards his friends. He was wondering; what if they didn't make it? And if they did, would they have a chance to live? Would he have a chance?
Jason needed to think straight. There was no way he was going to get through this if he wasn't thinking straight. Rocket, Magma, and Aqua are evil and there's nothing else left to say. He should've expected a day like this one a long time ago.
He stood up and walked straight ahead. Then he saw a Rocket truck, or was it one of Aquas or Magmas? He couldn't tell. The truck led straight ahead and Jason followed. Soon, he got to a familiar place, and the truck stopped at a very famous place. The Lilycove Department Store.
He walked along the grass trying to stay hidden. There were people taken out of the department store and Aqua and Rocket grunts were yelling at them. They were escorting them to the back of the trucks. Some of the people used their Pokémon and fought their way out, just to be hit real hard that they were knocked out and tossed to the back of the truck.
"What are they doing…?" Jason asked himself. After a few seconds, he asked himself again, "Why do they want us…?"
It was then that Jason noticed that almost every area in Lilycove was with a transport truck waiting, getting people in their trucks. The last question he asked stuck to his mind. Why did they want them?

Ned looked around the half full room of the area he had to stay in. there were people looking grim all around him. Ned had nothing to say, just like how they had nothing to say to him.
Before he had entered, they had asked him for his Pokémon. They didn't believe him when he said he didn't have any. So instead, they went around him and continued asking the others.
Just before he entered the area, Ned noticed something in the sky. It was turning a lighter color. He stopped worrying about it and continued in, where everyone who had been in the Safari Zone was currently at.
Ned sat at one of the beds and kept glancing around. He couldn't help it. the scene was terrible.
Suddenly, all the TVs suspended in the center of the room turned on. There was a slight fuzz for only a moment, but then a man was visible as the picture got clearer. There, sitting in a comfortable looking chair, was Giovanni, staring at everyone's soul.
"Good evening everyone," he said to the people. "I realize that you are all wondering exactly why you are here. Not only that, but exactly why we are the ones that brought you here." he paused for a moment. "Well, I can't say exactly why we're doing this, that's classified. But I will tell every one of you one thing; you are all in danger. Out there, where you thought you were safe, that was dangerous. Some of you have come from the Safari Zone. Well, just to explain it here, you weren't safe then. Those drills weren't ours. None of them were. They were dangerous people. They want to attack every city in Hoenn. Right now we are evacuating Lilycove. We know that's where they will be soon, and we won't take any chances of dead citizens. We're evacuating as much as we can. You just need to know that we are saving you all. I can't say anymore information on our current situation, and I know all of you are wondering who these people are, but I can't give you these answers. They will be answered soon, but not now. I trust all of you enough to let you have your Pokémon with you, but I don't want you to be misusing them or they become my property. I hope I made this clear to everyone. Good bye." The TV turned off sharply.
Some people took what Giovanni said into consideration. Others were wondering how a GYM leader ended up here. However, a lot knew one thing. Every word he had uttered was a big pile of crap.
