So, this is where me, and the other organizers shall talk about what to do and how to do it :)

My current question is this: How will we run the event?

That's the simple part- we get a bunch of entries either as microgames or as YouTube videos and judge them. We carefully look over and secretly, through PM, judge them. Then we just get the mean average and agree that it's a fair score. After such, we go and fix the score, if needed, and post it. The person with the highest score wins.

Microgames can be made in advance, though- I'm going to try to make a FFIV microgame but just for fun.

It's actually very simple and I've cleared all Dojo challenges, unlocked all modes, and trying to get every song.

    ok,cool!

What should be the prize for the winner(s)

Well, the obvious prize for the winners are emblems. Duh. Of course emblems, we don't have much of a better choice. Yeah, I might wantto have a talk with Hiroshi, but...

I was just going to tell you that Yuaoman (is that how you spell it?)- the mod of game dev. agreed to do this. Hours ago.

so... who is supervising? And i am happy to make some emblems for the winners.

It's quite simple to make emblems, but I want that job. Why? After the winners are decided, I thought to make emblems regarding their company name and game entry.

so... it is more than just minigames? cool!

Hi. Just wanted to poke a quick question at y'all. What about records and comics?Or is it only microgames? Maybe a contest for all three? You should decide. Just my few cents, though, don't take it for gold.

I accept this idea! Time to figure out how to place One-Winged Angel in DIY!

I guess i will leave you to do that!

    now, on to the organising....

The hard part is to make the thread-

How about we make this our judging system? We choose a number between 0 and 10 (either a 0 or a 5 at the end, such as 1.5 or 7, but you can't do 6.3 until you multiply/divide) for each category and multiply our numbers by the percentage given. Then, we get the score and we all give our scores together via PM (time to donate!) where we just average the whole thing out between us three, and that's the score. If two people like something and give it 10, but the third person gives a 1, averaging it out would give it a 7.

Either way, this is how each category is influenced
Graphics- 30% (nobody loves bad graphics)
    Music- 20%
AI- 40% (how many bugs have I seen in games, fixed E.T.)
    Personal Preference- 10%

For example, if I give the following scores-
    Graphics- 8
    Music- 10
    AI- 9
    PP- 10
Then it would only equal to this-
    Graphics- 2.4
    Music- 2
    AI- 3.6
    PP- 1
    Total- 9.0

So, my score would be 9.0. Now, if you two were to give 8.6 and 7.2, then the final score would be 8.3.

This is how I thought up of the scoring system in 5 minutes.

you basically took my original idea, and then made it better!

Really? I've ust thought of it, heck- I referenced it in the Combee announcement.

so... we have the prize sorted, a scoring system sorted, should we choose a theme for the contest? that would be cool.
