I don't know which laptop my sister used in order to sign-up for PC. It could have been mine, or perhaps my mom's. /too lazy to check.

Your house is under one IP address to the outside world, cause we'd be out of IP addresses (only 4 million possible in IPv4) if we didn't use the wonderful, funderful technologies known as Network Address Translation and Private Addressing to conserve IP addresses (everything from computers to... uh, cell phones and misc other stuff has an IP address).
