I wrote something last night before i went to bed. I'm going to post it here to show you. it's long. so it's going to be inside a spoiler tag. I wrote it all from my heart.

A Dim Flame

The flames on the candles of friendship
I thought would last for eternity.
Now it seems that might not be so.
As I stand in this room, I turn.
I see one candle with a dim flame.


I intend to relight this candle
the wax keeps me from doing so
for it looks like not enough wax
to keep the flame burning strong

I ignore the wax
trying to force
this one candle
to relight it's flame

the wax runs out faster now
I am running out of time
What can I do?

I don't want this particular candle
to burn out it's flame.
it might be too late for this one
soon it will be none.

Was everything I thought wrong
the flame of friendship
it can run out

What should i do
I'm really not sure
should i try to relight
I'll get a big No.

blow it out and be done with it
that is not a choice
what else should i do?

I think i'll leave
this dim flame alone
in hopes that one day
this flame will be bright
and not dim like now
