Way to many....

You guys have WAY to many forums and sub-forums. It kinda overwhelmes me. You should cut down on some, but you don't have to.

This forum has expanded a lot [it's old o_o!] and we saw a need for them. o_o; I know it can be overwhelming a lot when you're new, but it won't soon, when you find your own niche to post in. Sometimes I feel like this forum is tiny >_> which it isn't...

It's pretty good, because there's a place for everything, and it's easy to find stuff. ^__^

You'd be even more overwhelmed if all the threads about completely different topics were all thrown in together ^^;

When I first joined I was worried that I'd put a thread in the wrong forum/subforum! XP Expecially in the Art Gallery :P That forum gets confusing for me.

The more, the better! Just cause we have lots 'o forums, dosnt mean the sites bad! dont like the forum, then minimise it! I do that to pokemon forums and Im perfectly happy!

I can see how it would be overwhelming at first. But no forum goes unused. I mean if you want to talk about Pokemon games we got a forum for that (and down to the different games, like Red/Blue/Yellow, Gold/Silver/Crystal etc), or if you want to talk about shows or music we also got a forum for that. It might look overwhelming but everything is more or less simple (everything has a place, and if you want to go talk about that one topic then you can go to that forum).

I love the division of the forums x_x; I remember how awful it was in the dark ages when OC, MCG, and a few other huge forums weren't separated and were incredibly cluttered. If you ask me, I think we could go for even more sub-forums. Some people call it bueraucracy but I see it as more of a way to show people exactly where to post what they want to post. Having specifically-categorized forums helps remove confusion of where to post something after you get used to the sheer number of forums and sub-forums here. It's a huge advantage ^^

You actually have a very good point...but

PC is just too big. If we were smaller like PE2K, sure...but if all the subforums were gone, and we had everything in one forum, then the forums would fill up WAY too fast...

Lotsa subforums can be ugly, but it's better than the alternative.

Here is a line from my last post. "no forum goes unused", every forum on PC has a use, every forum on PC is needed. Everything is divided into it's own forum for a reason.
Sure we could mix, Other Games, Other Anime & Manga, Other Entertainment, Other Writing, Other Cards, and Other Roleplay all in one forum. But I'm sure then 150,000 posts and 5,760 threads won't look all that well mixed in one forum.

if the extra (unused bt you) forum areas bug ya too much, hide them by ckicking on the double up-arrow icon ((image no longer exists) or similar) at the top right of each section..
