We could use a "I'm Back!" forum

    I noticed that in the New users welcome area, that most of the threads are people saying that they're back from being away for a while. So, why not have a place just for people to say that they're back? It would help the new user's from being clutered up with threads not made by new people.
     
    Sounds like a good idea. That way there wouldn't be so many welcome back threads closed and all. I think it's a good idea so far.
     
    I dont really feel that there is a need for such a place. ^^; As far as I can see, there arent very many welcome back threads nowadays, and I'm not having very many problems with people posting them there. :33

    Yes, but the place has way more "I'm Back!" Threads then "Hello ^^" threads. Also, the forum says New Users/Welcome" not "I've been gone and I'm back."

    So, in other words the "I'm Back" threads are off topic logicaly.
     
    True Rukario Master, but look at the information below the link for New Users/Welcome:

    New users can announce themselves and be welcomed to the community. This is the starting pad for new members.
    Also, if you've returned to PC after at least a month of absence, feel free to get a warm re-welcome here.
     
    Oh, well I find haveing welcome back and I'm here threads a little clutering, but that's just me and everyone's opinion is the only one that truley counts. So, just post saying if you agree with my idea or not and why. Then the Admins can decide by your opinions on rather to make the forum or not.

    I'm with Karli. It's really not hard at all for the both of us to handle the NU/W forums even with welcome and welcome back threads together. ^^

    Now, I'm not saying it wasn't a good idea, but it was only recently that a bunch of members returned all at once, so there's really no need to create another forum. ^_____^

    I have a question. Speaking fo this. Would'nt be good to change the tittle of the forum to New User/Welcome and Return or something like that?. But I don't think the forum is needed.
     
    I think Arcanine is right. Not many people would go to see who's back. But it sounds like a good idea if there were more welcome back threads than there are now.

    So, what about the idea of changing the forum name to "New User Welcome and Return" or something like that?
     
    Noooooo, please don't do that. XD I kinda like it just being New Users / Welcome. :3 Buuuuuut, let's see how it'd look, shall we?

    OR

    New Users / Welcome and Return

    OOOOOOR

    Welcome / Return

    How about we vote for if to change the forum and, and to what. Everyone already knows my opinion on this. Which is I agree on changing the name, and changing it to "Welcome / Return" or something like that.
     
    Or perhaps just a I'm Back thread...
     
    An I'm back thread is also a good idea. Though IMO changing the forum name would be funner. Change is fun.

    Well it is up to the Senior Staff on name changing. And both Moderators of that forum said they are not for a new forum.
    I don't think there is a need for a new forum. Or even a name change. New members isn't over run with welcome back threads, so there isn't a need for a forum or a name name change of the forum.
     
    Ok. Seeing how a decision has been made, I don't think this thread is any longer needed. I guess it shall be closed now.
