I think I've been trick-or-treating... but I might just be misremembering my childhood, as I often do. In our old street, it's about 90% geriatrics, so there aren't that many trick-or-treaters anyway.

I'm pretty sure that was the reason why my parents didn't let me out to Trick or Treat, especially seeing as there are barely any kids in my area. Also my parents get way over protective with stuff like letting me outta the house to do stuff like that cause she thinks someone's gonna jump me or something - Being an only child killed stuff like that...
...I don't think you're mum would have pushed you to go trick or treating even if you had a sibling xD

I'm happy I have contacts instead of glasses, glasses would look absolutely terrible on me omg. But my dad has glasses, same with the majority of my family both sides. I don't need my glasses for eyesight problems per say, but my eyes are sensitive to light and somehow the contacts correct this problem.
