I don't really mind having text sigs, but I like to use different fonts, sizes, and CSS so it doesn't look too boring... :\

Last year I stuck a Santa Hat on Mithos and had a Mithos in a Santa Hat icon as my avatar. I may or may not do the same thing again, but I'm not quite sure, considering that I'm using for my theme this time around.

I'm fine with text. It just depends on how it's organized, really.

Definitely, if you're going to have a text sig, make sure it looks interesting by having variety.

Ever since I started posting in the Rating thread I've cut down on text a lot and stuck to simple ion signatures. :U

Uh... it said... uh... I forget. But almost every word in it was a link, it had a white background with a blue bar at the top. It was styled to look like a simple banner with words on it.

It was something akin to my magic signature wizardry here.
