I've never seen Wall-E.... :(
THIS NEEDS TO BE RECTIFIED! Damn region coding preventing me from shipping my copy to you, Toujours!

Wall-E was probably the last Disney/Pixar movie I actually liked/thought was good.
Apart from Toy Story 3, which I ended up seeing 5 times in the cinema -_-, I'd agree with this on the whole. Up's first ten minutes were devastating but the rest of the film failed to live up to such lofty goals; Tangled was OK but could have been a lot better; Bolt was meh.

I remember the mod theme collab. If they didn't make it so easy to hijack, none of that CHAOS would've happened. >:C

Also, Pixar is amazing. Beautiful animation, great stories told well, and there's always something cool and original to expect from them. Except when they just need money and poop out something that isn't up to snuff.

Tangled, I liked. Mother Gothel is one of the coolest Disney villains ever just for the fact that she was actually able to "kill" a main character.
Up was also pretty good but it couldn't live up to the standards the near-perfect beginning set.

You know whats wierd? When I watched the commercial for Tangled[before it was in the movie theatres] I thought, Ugh, another Disney Princess movie with TONS of singing. As usual, my little 5 year old sister wanted me to go with her, and-as usual- I said no. But this time, shr made me feel guilty by using her "puppy eyes" on me, so I went to go see Tangled with her and our mom.

It was a good movie, to be honest. Not that much singing. Then again, I 'had' to go to the restroom five times during the movie. Ironically, every time I came back from the restroom, they started singing. Agh......

Tangled was magical. I think it was the first Disney movie to really get to me since the ones that came out before I was born. The ones in the intervening sixteen years have been meh for the most part. /watchyoualljumptodefendyourfave

It's the way Disney gets to kids- making their characters sing songs that the kids will want to.

Was anyone watching House recently? Did you catch the Pokémon reference? If no,

Spoiler:

I really liked Wall-E. But sadly we might be on the way there if current trends continue. xD

And that was in House? How could I have missed that lol.

Wall-E was a great movie. Incredibly cute. :3

I still haven't even seen all of UP, yet. >____> Only watch half of it. :c

Musical animated movies are good as long as the music is good. See: all 90s Disney movies. I haven't seen Tangled or the majority of Pixar films since Finding Nemo, but from what I have seen it feels like music-heavy animated films are a dying breed and the quality of the music numbers still used is just lower on the whole.

Anecdotally, I saw The Princess and the Frog last year and I can't remember a single tune from it aside from the fact that one of them was titled Friends on the Other Side. This could very well just be me getting older, though,
