I watched the series (indigo league) and traded the cards when I was younger. I have gotten into the games in recent years as well.

My favourite pokemon is either snivy or scyther, I like them because they're cool 😎.
 
Welcome! I'm also new. I used to peruse forums like Psypokes back in the day and have returned to the internet for a return to form of community. I find myself returning to the Indigo League episodes pretty frequently now that I have a son and want to share it with him. Which games have you played and in what order? Any favorites?

Scyther is sick, can't believe I've never used him in a playthrough. I've always viewed them as a stepping stone to Scizor! That steel typing is too tempting. But their stats are the same, so I should really give the guy a shot. Have you ever used him in a playthrough?

I've played (in order):
Sword
Crystal
Platinum
Black

Overall, platinum is my favourite game.
I plan to get hg/ss next!
I haven't been able to use scyther in a playthrough but I have one I like to use in the battle frontier.
