    I personally would like
    Chikorita
    Charmander
    MudKip
That is just me. What ones would you choose?

Why don't they make a new region, that you go to all regions with new starters?

I'd like to see some more adversity int he starters.

So far it's always Grass/Water/Fire, hoping maybe one day a dark / fighting / psychic or something like that

i like the fact about what stricken says about the dark fighting and psychic types in would be really cool i think if new ones were to come out mainly b/c no pokemon that is of those types evolve all the way without trading so it would be a little pointless and there arent any dark types that evolve all the way through 2 different levels except tyranitar but he isnt a dark type right of the bat so its a little mixed new pokes would have to be made.

I really doubt we'll ever see any new types of starters, especially from obscure types like Dark and Fighting (not that I'm saying anything is wrong with those types; just that they aren't very common). The closest thing to a change in the starter pattern we've gotten was Pikachu in Yellow; if anything, I think another Electric-type starter might not be out of the question down the road (which would be fine with me, since it's my favorite type).

    My starters would be:

    Charmander
    Bulbasuar
    Mudkip

I like the 1st Gen starters, but nothing comes close to Swampert.

On the subject of a new region with different type starters, which I had foolishly expected DPP to do, here is what I would like:

    Electric
    Ground
    Water

There would also be ONE Legendary that you could catch in-game. It would be a Dark/Psychic-type, and as the story unfolds you would discover this legendary is actually an early version of Mewtwo that was discarded and thought to have been destroyed. Turns out that it survived and is seeking revenge on its creators and more importantly a confrontation with Mewtwo. Its stats would be similar to Mewtwo, but its SAtk and Atk would be reversed. The only way you could catch this Pokemon is if you imported Mewtwo into the game. Once imported, a cut scene would occur that would show Mewtwo escaping from your PokeBall, confronting you, attacking you with a Psychic attack, and then using Teleport. This would trigger a whole new sequence of events that centered around tracking down Mewtwo and ultimately preventing the new Legendary from destroying the entire region in its unwavering quest for revenge.

Im liking the mewtwo story line but it seems like it would be kind of a stretch but it sounds like it'd add some fresh new fun to and already beaten pokemon game if something like that could take place

p.s. I love my larvitar so if i could start with him id be in heaven lol

I think that Charmander, Mudkip and treeko is the best combo.

Technically speaking, the starter choices for anyone roaming the regions (following the timeline of Pokemon, of course) would always be Squirtle, Charmander, and Bulbasaur. This is because the Kanto region comes first in the timeline, and it progresses into the future generations.

Anyways, if I did have a choice, it would be:

    1. Piplup: Liking how cute he is; he's also pretty curious and clumsy, in an adorable way. xD
    2. Chikorita: This one just seems really energetic, compared to the other grass starters. The other grass starters are uuuugly.
    3. Torchic: Hard to decide for the fire types, because I liked them all a lot. I just didn't want two Pokemon from the same region, and Torchic wins Charmander.

Not judging by strength on any of these, of course. x_o

    Mine is:

    1. Turtwig - I don't know. But in my anime fantasies, I got Turtwig as a gift.
    2. Torchic - Anime fantasies. Pwnage!
    3. Mudkip - I was gonna choose Squirtle, but then I changed my mind. Swampert pwns Electric, man!

OR if I get my own choice...

    1. Pikachu - Anime fantasy starter. Seriously. (Electric)
    2. Glameow - Fanfic-striken. I love the elegance of Glameow. (Normal)
    3. Cherubi - My fave thing - flowers. (Grass)

If and when I get Platinum I will trade myself a cyndaquil egg and beat the game with him =3

I guess you only refer to the three first generations, since this is the GBA section... o.o

Bulbasaur, Cyndaquil and Mudkip. Awesome it would be.

I would like to see Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Piplup ;D! Out of all of them I would pick Chikorita because I have always had a thing for Chikoritas, they are just so cute.

Preferrably not Pokemon in the grass-fire-water triangle.

Though... given the implication around here that by starter you mean only the designated starter Pokemon, I'll go with the Kanto ones, since it's predictable that the player will start in Kanto if all the regions are together in the same game.
