this is probably my favorite metal album ever. either this or Choirs of the Eye by Kayo Dot. (well, there's other contenders, but still.) manages to pull off astounding beauty and Crunching Heaviness in equal parts without ever sounding forced in any capacity. plus Toby Driver is a brilliant vocalist. check this out if you're interested in unconventional music, post-rock, or metal in general. Please.
