What are your biggest pet peeves?

- Using the word "retarded" as a synonym for "stupid." Get over yourself and buy a dictionary and a thesaurus.

- When my fingers are dirty.

- Certain textures, mainly carpets.

- People that criticize you when you didn't ask for it and when they need that criticism for their self.

- Bad grammar, especially from people I went/go to school with. It's even worse when it comes from someone that is trying to pick a fight with you and all you want to do is throw the "you're going to have to type correctly if you want to continue this argument" card, but know that you can't.

Something that's getting to bother me more lately is the respect that many adults lack for children.

People who chew with their mouth open. People who don't use their directional while driving. Also people who ask me what I want to do for a career. I literally have an onslaught of people in my life who I avoid at all costs because the moment they see me they are compelled to ask what I want to do for a future career and go on and on about what they'd like to see me do. It's like the last thing I want to talk about with anyone ever.

My number one pet peeve is when someone talks to me like they know me even though they've only known me for a short time. Like I know this guy from college and he always follows me around asks me to hang with him even though I don't want to. Whenever I say something, he'd judge me and say that what I'm saying is wrong. Like this one time I was talking about transferring to an art school to pursue animation and he was all "I thought you were going to take education? You liked our philosophy professor right? You were going to be like him" and I'm just "I don't like our professors, I was going to take education as a back up and not to be like the prof, and don't talk to me like you know me all that well."

Okay sure maybe that example isn't a good representation of what I'm trying to put out, but he judges everything I say and do, like when I draw he'd be all "You're drawing again?! How many classes have you failed 3?! You've failed 3 and counting, you need to be serious about this." I was just drawing Link...
