What are your phobias?

Anything but that

We're all afraid of something (well not be XD jk), whether it's bungee jumping off a skyscraper, being covered in steak sauce and walking into a lion's den, or -shudders- wasps. I wanna know: Watcha all afraid of?

For me, wasps. And hornets, and bees, and yellowjackets, which are all pretty similar. But I HATE all of 'em. Why? When I was 7, I wanted to know what it would feel like to get stung by a wasp nearby (yes I was such a genius). So I made it angry. On purpose (I can see some of you smacking your foreheads). It hurt, but I don't remember how bad. And so now I'm afraid of anything... black and yellow.

FREAKING SEAGULLS. Well, birds in general, but especially seagulls. I was cornered by one when I was two. It freaking just came up really closely to me and I was just a wee baby and I started crying ;~; They also tend to fly really, really close to me, which doesn't help things either.

Kingsley explains it so much better than I do. [non-PC language and stuff]

Anything that is an insect, rather large for an insect, can fly and will come into your room when you open the window at night, even if you turn the lights off before doing so and hit something with your toe in the dark on the way from the light switch to the window or the window to the door.

Other than that, heights. Including standing on a chair and looking down.

Heights............. nearly died on a rollercoaster when I was little.

I have so many phobias... heights, flying, the dark, jeans, shopping and well, a lot of stuff.

But the biggest thing I can't stand is...

Spoiler:

I mean, I really really hate it.

Spiders and heights. Honestly, spiders just scare me, I've been bit by them, ran into their webs, seen how they catch their prey and study them. None of those things helped me cope with my phobia for them. In fact, it just made it worse. And for heights, I once fell off a ten ft. slide and that's what kinda got me scared of heights...

Weird-looking insects, that has wings just like cockroaches that flies like a butterfly. xD ;;

sharks
tiger
lion
snakes and more....

Losing those I care about and making mistakes (to an extent, being wrong?) are probably my main fears. For the first one, there's nothing I fear more (pretty sure I'd rather take all the spiders/black worms in the world than losing people I care about) and it's something that enters my mind often. I don't really wish for it to, but just somehow, I dunno.

In regards to making mistakes, I pretty much kinda have a fear of making a mistake that I can't really take back - or even mistakes in general. I guess that really emerges from feeling like people are going to judge me even if I slip up on one thing, so I try to always say the right things when talking to people so they don't hate me, idk, it's weird. :x

In general fears, spiders, black worms, heights and the dark sorta.

Spiders and bugs make the top of my list. Just looking at a picture of a bug gets me spooked. I think getting a bee stuck in my hair when I was four gave me this.

Being judged/talking on the phone to strangers/etc., basically many social environments.

Surgery. I fear being put asleep by medicine for an operation and somehow dying in it.

Needles. I hate the pain and I get a little hysterical over them.

Heights. Not my biggest, but definitely one of them.

Upside-down rollercoasters and ferris wheels. They freak me out.

I don't have a 'phobia', per se... but there are a few things that weird me out a lot. The main one is that I can't really look at people touching their necks. I'm not entirely sure what it stems from, but if someone tries to touch my neck, or someone touches the front of their neck, I almost instantaneously cringe at the sight of it. I have a similar thing when it comes to wrists, but it's not as pronounced. Maybe it's because slitting throats and wrists is kind of a no-no if you want to live, and anything to do with them brings up that image in my mind... but I dunno, to be honest. It's my weird tick (although I did find someone a few weeks ago who shares the neck thing: kindred spirits and all that).

I have two major ones.My first one, the dark, can be summed up in this one Spongebob quote
"The dark is nothing to be afraid of. It's what's IN the dark you've got to
watch out for."
Second, is vomiting. The nauseous feeling is bad enough, but the thought of crap spewing out of your mouth just freaks me out.

I am afraid of insects. ESPECIALLY spiders. When I see one of them coming towards me, I literally cringe or run away as if a murderer is coming towards me.

Spiders, heights, drowning/suffocation.

But i do like rollercoasters. Glass elevators and escalators creep me out too.

I am afraid of locked tight spaces. As in, claustrophobia if I can't get out when I want to.

I'm afraid of heights. I know it's gay but I freaking hate it.

Weirdly, I'm not afraid of heights. However, I'm terrified of falling. I'm also afraid of dangerous insects and loud noises; especially loud noises. (You can't recover hearing senses.)

Basically, things that you can find in daily life that have a high chance of causing physical harm regardless of how you mess with it.

Along with these, I have a very annoying fear of possibly outright stopping breathing. Having dealt with erratic episodes of apnea (as in they sometimes happen years apart) has both caused this and made it worse.

I have a slight aracnophobia (spoiders) and acrophobia(heights). I have an a version to bugs, and I wouldn't like to have a surgery ...
