What do I get him?

Okay, so it's my boyfriend's birthday on the 16th this month. It's an important date because 1. It's his 18th and 2. It's our 4 Month anniversary. I want to get him something that he'll like, but I don't have lots of money.

He loves Star Wars, Metal, Jazz, Blues and any music from 1950's rock to 1980's pop, and gaming. The problem with buying him a CD would be that he already has one, the only place where I could get Star Wars stuff at an affordable price has closed down and I can't afford to buy him a new Xbox game. If I could, I'd get him Bioshock 2.

    Any ideas?

Try to inconspicuously ask him what CDs he has of a certain band he likes.. Like I brought up ticket master and casinos and shows at casinos to try to steer the conversation to what sort of CDs my guy had. I ended up finding one that he couldn't even get in America so he was thrilled! Other than that I don't have any other tips, sorry!

Buy him a Victoria's Secret gift card. That way.. he'll spend it on you.

Or.. just give him cash.. and tell him that you couldn't find anything you think he'd like for a reasonable price.

But you know.. if you guys really like each other, any gift from you would make his day. You don't even have to buy him anything. Just make him breakfast in bed and give him free tickets(i.e. massage) xP Hope that helps.

Well...much as it's not the best option, eBay is okay if you wanna try for Bioshock 2.

Of course, if by "gaming" you mean multiple systems(though I know the typical modern gamer is 90-100% Xbox360), you might be able to find some reasonably priced, older Star Wars games.

18th birthday you say....what to get my 18 year old boy friend for his birthday....my legal age boy friend.... >_>

16 is the age of consent in the UK, where the OP lists as their location, so your advice is pretty stale by now.
But if you know that and meant alcohol, well that's an idea.

Make him a pie or a cake, if I was to receive anything from a girlfriend, I would not want something expensive and of course I'd like food best, hehe.

Guys like food. Get him food. If your creative you could make a star wars cake or something. If you don't think that's enough, the food and some money. Be nice to him on the day. Maybe the two of you could go out for an affordable dinner, or whatever you want.

Naah. We like to eat home, the ones who like to go out for a dinner are the women. ;)

I was hinting at taking him to a strip club >_>
But hey i'm crappy at sending hints xD

P.S i'm lying, i was talking about sexy time

    buy a watch.
just simple. and it will always be there to remind him of you.
well thats what im wanting :P.

Money isn't everything, and if he's too shallow to understand that, then he's just a douche.

Either way, you don't have to buy him anything. Just go out with him, and have an overall nice day. You know, like make him breakfast, then go for a walk in the park, then eat out at some Japanese place, then watch a movie, then do some volunteer work or whatever, then finish up at his place playing video games, and he'll have the best ordinary day of his life. While you're doing all this, keep telling him different things you like about him, maybe make plans for the summer, or just whatever.

You get the idea. All this will cost way less than some expensive gift, but it will be a better present. I guarantee it. If you do things like this, you're way more likely to keep your partners for long term.

Make him something. If it comes from you, it'll surely make him happy. Doesn't really matter what, but make sure its from your heart. Not literally, haha, a little humor sorry. But put a lot of work and effort into it. Believe me. He'll love anything from you.
