What do you call your Rival?

Blue: Gary
Gold/Silver: ??? (OK I was like 7 at the time)
Ruby: (I forgot)
Emerald: (Same as above)
FR: Gary
Diamond: Kenta (a Japanese name...)
 
Oh, LOL! I remember having the fun times of naming your rival. I remember my neighbor named his one "Shut Up!" in Yellow, so Oak was like "Shut Up! Have some patience!" or something of the like.

... He also named it a very bad name that cannot be mentioned on his Silver.

Me? I always name it my rival at that point in time.

I'm wat too serious with rival names because I want to stick their real names.

Before I used to call all my rivals Gary. Since it was a name that really suited the first rival. After that I kept naming them that until more recently when I just started replaying Crystal I called him Duran (I was listening to Hungry like the wolf at the time)
 
I found out what i really called them i found all my games YAY ME! here we go

Red: *beep*head
Sliver: Milo
Ruby: May
Emerald: May
Leaf green: *Beep*head(again)
Diamond: Mitcho(my best mate then we started competing against each other)

My cousin call himself Gary and his Rival Ash

Obviously you can guess which gender is which.

I don't remember all of mine but I know the older ones were all Gary. I can't remember the GSC rival's name, but I know ever since then i've named him Steven after my friend in real life. He is actually my rival at Pokemon so I thought it made sense.

Some of you guys sure thought of funny names. I should try it sometime!
 
I Always call my rival riku and call my self sora because of the game kingdom hearts i know its stupid but it just seams like it fits
 
I just got Gold and Blue. :D

Anyway, in Blue he's Shigeru and Gold he's Octopus. xP

Oh my shoes. I found my rival on Silver. And I now know his name. I walked in Mt. Moon and he ran up to me and was like "It's been a while, Trevor. blah blah blah" And then...-insert the 'a' word here- WANTS TO FIGHT!

I stared for five minutes. O.o
 
in G/S/C i called him Red cuz of his hair.
in R/B/Y i called him Gary cuz (duh) he looks like Gary Oak
in R/S/E i can't rememder if you could name him/her but i always called her May if you could.
in FR/LG he was Red or Green depending which one I played (This was after i started reading PokeSpe so i wanted to be just like the manga, i even tried to catch the same Pokemon as Red and Green.)
in D/P i've had the same save since I got it, and I named him Ace cuz that was my friends name on Emerald.
 
Blue/Red/Yellow: Gary, Blue, John or anything. Usually Gary because of the anime.
Silver/Gold/Crystal: I think I called him silver or gold or anything. What I called him recently I can't remember.

Newer games are to be played!
 
In Yellow and Red I called him Gary, forgot what I did in Crystal, and in Diamond my rival is Axel lol
