What do you do for 4th of July?

Most of time have BBQ`s..
But this year..
No BBQ..

So..
We are just cooking food and Doing..
Stuff

Also We stay up late playing games and hoping my parents won`t bother me..
(I stay up till 2:15 in the morning and my brother ...
well same time..

We got my dad a new grill for Father's day, so he's been cooking up a storm lately, hehe...
Um, this year is actually a little strange because we have a few things going on at the moment, but at least we have fireworks for tonight! (We didn't get any this past New Year's because they were sold out in every place we checked) And since my ears are still kind of blocked from the scuba diving trip I went on a little while ago, the loud noises shouldn't be a problem, hehe.

Last night I went to the huge fireworks show with my family that they have at the lake every year. ^_^ It was so neat! We rode on my grandparent's boat, and since it's pretty large, most of my family can ride on it. The whole lake was filled with other boats, and the water was so rough! (I even have a story about that, that happened last year, lol. It's kind of funny.)

On the radio station that we listened to, as soon as the first firework shot up, it played the National Anthem, and then for the rest of the show it played pariotic music. I loved it!

For the 4th of July? *checks date* Ah, that's today.

Let's see... I woke up at 10:30 AM because my mom wants me to get back on a regular sleeping schedule for summer school. Then I came downstairs and sat on the computer for a bit and got my forums back up and running. Then I duelled my brother in YGO and ate food. And I installed WinAmp. o_o Tonight I don't really plan on doing much. There are no fireworks~

I'm not American. ;D I am going to see Farenheight 9/11 today, though. o_O; Does that... count? XD

OMG! I can't remember what I've be doing all day.

*ponders*

Oh! I went to brunch. The brunch I was supposed to go to on Father's Day, but the place caught fire. Then I came home played Ocarina of Time and Spider-Man, and now I'm here.

...

Wow! My life is boring. Is it too late to make a Canada Day thread? LOL

*gasps* You guys didn't make a Canada Day thread? =X We had one last year. latiosspud posted a bunch of pictures of the fireworks at Parliament Hill. XD;

*just noticed Kairi's post* o.o; Jeez, it wasn't that exciting of a day. ;p I didn't even get off the plane until 7 my time.

Absolutaly nothing! I do live in america, but I'm not really a patriotic kinda person O_o

We don?t do anything on the forth really, though our neighbors usually use all kinds of illegal fireworks anymore, so we can watch them. Now the 3rd, that is a day truly, truly worth celebrating. T89 will agree with me. Smart guy.
Hehe, I'm smart! *runs in circles* She's back but now she's off to summer school! *cries*

Anyone up for a belated Canada Day thread?

Wow, that sounds like so much fun! I would've loved to ride in a boat like that for such an occasion.... even after all the boat riding I did on my scuba trip. (I can bet this would have been much more serene, hehe) Hey, I would like to hear your story!

It's really neat that you can do that with your family. We have a little lake right next to our house, where we did our fireworks, but nothing a boat could squeeze into. But, this being our first Fourth of July in this house, we realized we get a really good view of all the fireworks overhead. We had fun, and that's all that matters!
