Times where I can remember my dream and times where I don't seem to come in waves for me, and I think I'm about to begin one of these waves again. My dreams often present familar things or people altered in sometimes odd ways. The place where I live (which includes my old home and the current one), transportation, my pets, people I know, places I frequently visit (online and in the real world), Pokémon, Digimon, Sonic, television dramas I watch, the games I play, the downtown area in Singapore (and even the future of it), just about everything I have come into contact with in my life has been an element in my dream. To lst all of them in detail could take up an entire page in this thread, but I shall list the more interesting and fascinating ones.
There was this one I had quite recently that involved both Pokémon and Digimon. I couldn't remember much of it, but I seemed to have control of my dream to a certain extent. Whenever I made my dream feature Pokémon, Digimon songs could be heard. And when it's Digimon, it could be the other way round for the songs. All the songs I heard in my dream were the Japanese versions (maybe because we get the Japanese versions of Digimon in Singapore, and I have been listening to Japanese Pokémon songs recently). And here's the strange thing: after I woke up, I tried to think of Pokémon, but I got a Digimon song struck in my head instead (o.o).
Here's another one that's fascinating. I dreamed that I'm now an adult, and that I'm in the future of Singapore's downtown that seemed like the Marina Bay area (the place does exists, but has just started development not too long ago). For some reason, all walkways are now either underground or enclosed, and I remember walking down into one of these walkways. I remember can't remember much after that, but I do recall coming across what looked like an office area, but it didn't quite look like an office; the design concept was very open and minimal. Someone (an office-type lady) came up to me and I think I asked her for directions (I'm not sure whether it was me or her; I think it was me); she then directed me to a rather furturistic elevator and told me to take it up. I then woke up; and the dream just ended like that.
Here's a thrid one that's rather personal, and I still remember it to this day. I dreamed that I was with my mother, when I received that my sister and her friend are planning to commit suicide by jumping off an office building in the downtown area. We rushed to the roof of the building, only to find my sister safe and sound. I looked onto the rooftop and saw my sister's friend (a female I can't recognise) sitting there and she seemed to be crying. I'm not sure what happened after that, but somehow, we managed to rescue my sister's friend but we (my mother and I) got struck on the roof instead (the roof was sloping to one side, by the way). We waited for help for some time, and all the time I was keeping watch on my mother. Then, out of nowhere, some gondolas (which I supposed was being lifted by helicopters) appeared above me. I took my eyes off my mother for that short while, and when I next looked back, she was gone. I looked over the roof, only to see my mother fall to the ground, with some black object falling away from her body (I assumed it's her handphone) as she hit the ground. I remembered becoming very emotional and started crying (in the dream). Soon after, I woke up, and I actually felt very emotional about it.
