what do you look for?

    Well simple question really when you are looking for a girlfriend/boyfriend what do you look for in their personality. i personally look for a good sense of humor, trustworthy and nice looks.

    How about you?
     
    Well, the most important thing that I'll be looking for when I'm ready to start a relationship with a guy--which will be when I get older, and am ready to consider getting married--will be whether or not our morals and beliefs match up. My faith is the most important thing in my life, so I simply won't accept anyone who doesn't feel the same way as I do about it.

    Besides that, um... I'm not really that picky! ^_^; I'll admit that I'd definitely want to be attracted to him, but that's not the only thing that I care about. I like guys who stay true to everything that they believe, and aren't afraid to be different, even if they get picked on for that.
    I'll totally fall for a genuinely sweet guy; someone who actually has manners, and is always polite and caring. Along with having a gentle spirit, I want him to also be strong, too, both mentally and physically. He would have to be someone who I knew I could always trust and depend on, and who had a desire to take care of and protect me. I'm naturally kind of quiet and shy, so I think I'll need that in my life.
    Last but not least, a sense of humor would definitely help to make things more fun!

    (I've been thinking about this sort of stuff lately, for some reason. XD I think it's due to the fact that I just finished volume 6 of the Full Moon wo Sagashite manga... and it affected me a lot. It basically revolved around romance, and I really liked it. I'd take a guy like Eichi in an INSTANT. <3)
     
    I really like guys with a dry sense of humour. Sarcasm is guaranteed to get me interested. I like when I can have a witty conversation with that person. Also, guys who are brutally honest - they're the best people to get compliments from.
    Although I like romance, I wouldn't go for anyone who is too sweet.

    I'd probably look for looks and how funny they are if they are plain boring..nopes..But if they are hilarious and hawt, That's what's I'd aim to get XD
     
    Well, First off, I like them smart, because stupid girls (no offence) are sorta annoying when you spend too much time with them, also, I must make sure they like ME, not my cash or my car or something that is not me.
    Second, they must be quite patient, wich means that they can stand the way I act at time. And thirt...well...the first things guys notice on girls first.

    The stupid girls comment was a bit harsh cloud boy, but i have to agree when you say that we need to make sure that they like us for who we are and not our cash as thats just whatscalled going out with a gold digger.
     
    Outlandish as it seems, I have to ensure that they have to like me, not whatever I have on me. I'll also settle for long, dark hair. Meh.

    In this area, it's probably not possible unless it's a girl I've known for a long time, in which case I haven't communicated with them well enough and they're all most likely paired up.
     
    I am not really picky when it comes to a boyfriend..I don't look specifacilly at looks or personality..I like to find someone who has a nice combination of both. ^_^

    A sense of humor is also a pretty good bonus [especially with my really happy personality 8D]

    Other than that, not much. Just someone who I'm comfortable with and capable of conversing naturally. I wouldn't mind a bit of dry humor, though. I don't think there's time to be picky when you come to truly like someone. :x

    i think that finding someone that you can put your faith into and trust is very hard to find but when you do and you really like eachother then i think that the relationship would be to solid to break.
     
    I think that she was mainly talking about sharing the same faith in God, but I do agree with you there! I would never stay with anyone who I couldn't trust very much... that would definitely cause some problems later on in the relationship.

    That's why I'm going for a Christian guy; I'll know that we share the same beliefs, so I won't have to worry about anything. XD The only problem is that guys like that can be pretty hard to find these days, so I think it'll take some praying for the right one to come along.
     
    Well I look for someone who is nice, trustworthy, caring and a good listener because I talk a lot XP It would also be nice to have someone who I could really just talk to about anything and have fun with. Plus, another big factor is sense of humor. I love it when guy's can really make me laugh (and I don't have to fake it because their jokes sucked...thats never a fun thing --)

    looks would be nice but like everyone else said-it's not everything ;D
     
    I usually look for someone who is trustworthy, kind, funny, and pretty self-confident. Other then that I like someone who has long hair, likes anime and manga, Pokemon, and writing, but those things are not a must.
     
    In a guy, I look for a great personality, soemone who can make me laugh and have a great time, I would like him to have a some good looks, but thats not what I tend to look for too much.

    Well I'm not really that interested in looks cause they're all the "cool" people so I'd say I'd pick them because they like some things that I like and they are also funny...that's what my crush is like o.O; OMGG! If I had someone lie at me I'd never accept them again D<

    To me...having a boyfriend isnt always about the looks. It's knowing what's inside. The best guy a girl could ever have is someone that will love her. Someone that will hold her tight when she is crying, take care of her when she is sick...etc.

    Sometimes people think that money is something guys will give...or gifts. That isnt love. its appericiation. If you want real love then you hafta make sure you are always there for her to make her laugh.
