4th Gen What do you prefer?

Do you prefer the Gold or Silver versions? (Based on what you already know, and what you know from the real Silver and Gold versions)

Personally, I prefer Silver, because it is what i liked the most when it came out.

If you are only getting HG OR SS, what one and why?

i prefer HG because i like the color Gold more than Silver, I like the exclusives to HG more than the SS ones and also ive never played Gold when i was little,only Silver

I like Silver because of Lugia, but I'm getting both for exclusives and different starters, to fill the Pokedex.

Personally, I don't care. Both are pretty much the same; they have the same storyline, and in both games you can catch both Ho-Oh and Lugia.

SoulSilver. I like its exclusives more even though I'm trading with some friends who are getting HeartGold for their exclusives.

I hate to sound like a nostalgiatard as well, but Silver was my first Pokemon game, excluding Yellow.

personally I perfer Gold, it was my very first gameboy game. Took me like 6 years to finish it, but I still loved it

borrow my friends Gold

I prefer HG, even though I had Silver when I was a kid, the exclusive Pokemon in HG are MUCH better, Growlith, Phanphy, Gligar, I want all them in my team (although with Gligar not learning fly i'll need something diffrent to him).

I'll be getting Soul Silver.
I kinda regret pre-ordering it though, because I recently realized that the HG exclusives are some of my favorite Pokemon...
I do prefer Lugia though (In my opinion, Ho-oh= Giant colorful fearow), so at least I get its figurine.

Are you asking if you prefer Gold or Silver, or are you asking if you prefer HeartGold or SoulSilver? As it seems many of the posters have been back and forth between the two, looking at the replies above. XD; Regardless, if your asking about HG/SS, then there is already a thread made for similar discussion, which is here.

If you're asking about Gold and Silver though, you may want to check out another board on PC, Metal and Color Generation Games (GB/GBC), and see if they do not have a thread on discussion between if one prefers Gold or Silver.

Anyway, being so confused and seeing as either way this thread is not needed here, I'll just lock it now. ;)
