What do you think of Pikachu?

I like pichu the best because he's so cute.Raichu doesn't have very many moves.
I don't have a reason for pikachu
 
I prefer Raichu, it's my favorite Pokémon!
I also really like Pichu.
However, I hate Pikachu. . With a passion. >.>
 
Raichu is my favorite electric type, so he's my choice. I like Pikachu too though. What would Pokemon be without him?
Pichu..not so much. I don't like the whole 'baby pokemon' thing.
 
I've always liked Raichu, just because it's a cooler Pokemon, honestly. Then again, In my Ruby Version Pikachu was one of the best Pokemon. Mine was, anyways, until I evolved it xP.

Some of you may disagree, but I hate them all. I mean... They made Trainers based entirely on it! Well, Pokémon has to have a mascot, but there's a limit to that, too!
 
Raichu is one of my favorite pokemon. Always has been, no clue why.

And how can Pikachu be overrated? In battle? Does anyone even battle with a Pikachu? It's not very good for battling, it's got terrible stats. So if no one uses it in battle, how can it be overrated?
 
Even with the Light Ball, Pikachu is sub-par in battle, and Raichu is not any better. Pichu? Baby Pokemon in their entirety are not for battle, they're for cutesy appeal. *shrug* I, for one, have been long tired of the mascot. Satoshi needs to effing evolve that thing already. Give him a new Pichu to raise alongside it so the cute appeal's still there. THAT would make the anime interesting to watch.
 
I love Pikachu. It's small and cute, yet strong.
Pichu's uber cute, and Raichu's cool, but I still prefer Pikachu.
Pikachu's one of my top six favourite Pokemon, actually! ^_^

I got into Pokemon through the Anime all those years ago, so I'll always have a soft spot for Pikachu. Raichu looks damn cool, but Pichu is a stupid little rat that is useless in every way.
 
This thread should have an option for "None". Some people hate all of the three Pokémon. I don't really mind any of those three, but my favourite's Raichu, if I have to pick. And for some reason I really enjoy drawing Pikachu, I don't care much for that Pokémon though.

But seriously, whoever thinks Pikachu and the rest of the Pika line has no idea what's overrated and what not. Half of the Pokémon fandom hates Pikachu, and that just because it's always sitting on the shoulders of a 10 year old kid in the animé. Come on, admit it, sometimes you don't even notice that Pikachu is in the episode, except when it blows up Team Rocket's baloon or just causes an explosion. Which gets so repetative anyway, you might not even notice that.
Lucario, on the other hand, is used by the 3rd gym leader and the leauge (sp?) champion in Sinnoh, you get to lead some guy in D/P on Iron Mountain (or whatever's the place called) with a Lucario and then he even gives you a Riolu Egg and in competitive battles so many people use it, it's not funny. Not to mention, that thing has it's own movie too. And of course that causes 3/4 of the fandom to LUUUURVE that damn Anubis wannabe.
Sure, Pikachu has a game or two based on it, but come on, it's the mascot of Pokémon.

So, let's make Drowzee the mascot of Pokémon for a second and completely forget about Pikachu. Of course, everybody would start to hate it, even though it was probably one of the most forgotten Pokémon ever.

No offence to any Lucario fans (which means half of the Pokémon fans anyway), but if you give me bad rep for that, you either can't handle someone's opinion or the truth. Or both. Your pick. :|

I think a Pikachu holding a Light Ball is actually better than Raichu. But meh, I guess that comes to personal preference. :/

Pikachu, I always have a Pikachu with a Light Ball in my party.
 
All of 'em! Pichu is Pikachu+more cuteness, Raichu's a pwning Pikachu, and Pikachu is an awesome fusion of coolness+cuteness! :) And Pikachu is NOT overrated! I'm actually glad that Pikachu's the mascot, it's better than Clefairy being mascot (according to Bulbapedia last time I checked). Clefairy only has its relation to the moon going for it; while Pikachu has electricity, agility, and cuteness backing it!! Pikachu's uber-Thunderbolt and Volt Tackle FTW! :D

P.S. And I'd rather play as Pichu in SSBM (yeah, I said it :), despite its self-damaging attacks!) than that extremely overrated Puff Pokemon that jiggles in all 3 games, wasting Mewtwo's slot, too! Also, Volt Tackle is AWESOME! :D
 
While Clefairy is a hottie, she's definitely not as appealing of a mascot. However, there's not really any validation to that whole theory of Clefairy being the original poster Pokémon, just pre-animé merchandise that had her on it (in which she pretty much got an equal spotlight as Pikachu).
