Aw. I don't think Hilbert's design is all that bad!
But, yeah...the new characters look a lot better...no offence to Game Freak. Plus, Bianca wearing glasses is totally cute!

....with this game already the poison type gym leader? Rockin! i hope we'll see at least a :t110: on her team and if Seviper is gonna be in there that too, would be the best!

How can she look hipster?! I think she looks quite normal/more fit for her role now. XD; With the glasses and all she really does seem like a professors assistant. ;x

Agreed! The male protagonist only improved from previously, so be glad? I haven't really seen anyone comment on Hilbert's design and call it any better. :B

Plus the male protagonist can hide a wittle Pokémon in his hair and Hilbert cannot, which simply makes him so amazing. :)

I don't hate Hilbert's design is bad either, I think he's really cute he looks okay. Although, I suppose we all have our own opinions, eh?

My personal opinion, while the male protagonist for B2W2 isn't what I'd classify as my favorite, it sure is better than Hilbert's design for Black and White. As you said, just as Hilbert's hair is boring, I find him as a whole just boring in terms of design. That's my opinion anyway if we're comparing Hilbert to the new male protagonist.
 
if there's one thing i know, it's that the new rival is lookin' mighty fiiine *3*

i am also preparing to ship fem!protag with rival because it's a ritual in my part

also i can't unsee the surfer dude in brotag because of those shorts and that wacky hairdo and visor

I like the female character's design, especially in comparison to Dawn and Lyra. The male character looks decent; his design fits well into a Pokemon game.

Something about the professor is pretty shady...I'm not sure if it's his design or his study of Pokemon strength though.
 
Yeah I think every character we've seen so far look better than before no doubt. There's not much that are "newly" introduced though. D:
 
I like the female's hair and all, but her clothes just irritate me for some reason.
The male... he just, I dunno, doesn't appeal to me as much as the other playables from previous games... (maybe 'cos of lack of cap?) AND DAT HAIR.

True dat. Each character looks much better in my opinion, and not only that, the new characters shown so far look epic, too! Shizui has to be my favorite so far. Dat tan. <3
 
I like the new protagonists as well as the old ones. The new protagonists have that oomph that gives them a protagonist look. In comparison, I like the new ones better vs the old ones.

If only the tan extended to his whole body and not just skipped a part. :x Oh wait, maybe he had a different swim suit before, or that indicates that he might've done something different before? idk actually.

I agree, Elesa with brunette, Cheren, Bianca & N's look all look improved for the better, I'd love to see even more characters with changed appearences now.

The only one I am not totally for is Elesa because the new hair color doesn't go good with her type, but other than that, Elesa is okay.

Haha it's ever so awkward. However I do like unique designs like that I wish Homika had an extra uniqueness to her. The rebellious teenage rock-star thing is too compact.

I think they had a great idea started with her, but it just kind of...was like, given up on. Shizui's is...different and hot, but he has a complete look, I think. Not a complete tan, but a complete look.
