Hoenn is the only region with the triathlete trainer class. You can find them on Route 110 (the cycling portion), Routes 105 and 106, Route 117, and Routes 126-130.

Obviously the cycling portion is on Cycling Road on Route 110, and at least part of the running portion is on Route 117 (where the triathlete says he'll stop for a battle because he is comfortably ahead), however with the two swimming portions being so far apart, it's hard to come up with an actual course for that.

I feel, at the very least, the swimming ends at the beaches of Slateport, they grab their bikes and head up Cycling Road, and start the running portion through Mauville and onto Route 117, possibly ending in Verdanturf town, or they continue on through Rusturf Tunnel and finish in Rustboro City.

Hmm, I never actually thought about this, haha! But it makes sense that the course would be layed out like that. I think that between Dewford and Slateport is a good portion for a swimming event. I don't really like how New Mauville fits in to the race, but I guess that's how it's going to work. I would assume they would go up from New Mauville instead of left, too.

I wonder if some of the swimmers that are way off east are just... practicing over there? It just doesn't make sense that they're so far away haha. In traditional triathlons, the biking portion is the longest, so having swimmers way over there is just weird.
