What does Max do all day?

    Ever since Ash ended his Hoenn/Battle Frontier journey, and May decided to travel on his own, one can only wonder what life is like for Max, now that he's stuck at home. It's like graduating from college, only to spend the rest of your days at home because you live in the boonies and can't find a paying job.
     
    He is studying Pokemon I guess, I think He want's to be a professor or something Like that, maby a Pokemon breeder lol

    Or rdy to become a pkmn trainer....
    And to me, he seems mature as a 7 year old o_O
     
    He's a 7-8 year old kid, what do you expect him to do? He probably watches his father's Gym battles, plays with his Slaking in the garden, and just studies/reads up on pokemon.

    It's also possible Max watched Ash's league matches in Sinnoh and Unova. Remember the first time we meet Max he talks about how he watched Ash's Johto league battles such as Charizard Vs. Blaziken.
     
    Like they all said, I'm sure he's just continuing the sort of research/studying he used to do but with a new perspective. Maybe Norman allows him more time with the gym mon as well, idk. Max's passion has always been study and research rather than journeying, so I'm sure he's content to wait a few more years while still having that kind of experience under his belt.
     
    If he were in school, he'd have a few friends to hang out with and it wouldn't be a big deal, but he must be bored out of his mind. Let's hope he has the internet or is close friends with Wally.

    He needs permission from Birch?

    What doesn't he just go find a random PokeBall and go back for his Ralts, then form a region-long rivalry with Tommy.

    Or why didn't he just go back to Pallet Town with Ash.
     
    I like to think that he sits in front of a computer screen all day in the basement of his house, playing the Pokemon world equivalent of World of Warcraft, a manic and almost desperate glint in his eye as he trains his virtual Pokemon and tries hard not to imagine what might have been had he been slightly less annoying when traveling with Ash and co.

    His comfort on lonely nights are the empty junk food packets littered across the floor - his mother never comes in to clean anymore - and the worn out, stuffed doll Skitty that was once May's, his only reminder that he has a sister, or even a family. A still young boy who has been abandoned by those he cared about and has given up on life.

    ...yeah, I really didn't like Max.

    It seems likely that Max would attend Rustboro's Trainers' school but I doubt he would be bored. He is very social with people his age and has a passion for studying. The thought of being an official Trainer in the future fuels his ambition. Just watch Gonna Rule the School!.

    If he's not in school, I'd imagine that he's watching Norman's battles and tends to Norman's Pokémon. He may also be assisting Prof. Birch in Littleroot.
     
    Max unlikely does anything other than stay at home watching TV or his dad's gym battles while preparing to get his first Pokemon. We probably never will know what's going on with him right now since characters in the anime aren't allowed to age unless the writers decide that Ash should be 13-14, so Max (as well as Bonnie) aren't going to be seen with their own Pokemon any time soon because as long as the writers keep Ash 10 years old, nobody's going anywhere.

    One day I hope to see a special where we see Max start his own journey, possibly when/if the Hoenn remakes come out.

    Dude that's genius!! Include Max as one of your rivals or as the professors assistant like Bianca in B2/W2.

    Like said above I think that Max is studying at pokeschool to become a professor since that's what he wanted to do in the Anime.
     
    But Max has to start traveling again soon.

    What does Max do all day? Talk to Ralts about berries. Ralts gets bored after some time, and Max just keeps talking about berries. berries berries berries
     
    I'd like to think he's already a trainer currently on his journey. But the most possible thing to say is that he's studying, helping his parents or hang out with his school friends - as what most people said already.
