5th Gen What DON'T you want to see in the new games?

^^^ The ones agree with except the mom saving money one, I liked it. It saves your money like a bank so if you lose a battle and lose all your money and need to buy something you have money saved away. Plus in the original G/S/C your mom bought you actual good stuff, like decorations for your room. <--That should come back!

But I definetly want to see the underground gone. It served no purpose other than to dig up useless spheres and greet people for a spiritomb.
 
I really don't want to see a fist appear when a punch move is used, I don't care what you say that it has already been showed in the videos, its probably a beta version or they won't put it in the third game.

Also I want to see the player ridingbthe pokemon overworld when using HMs like surf, not riding a stupid blob. Seriously what is that blue thing supposed to be a vehicle or something?
 
well i am super excited for the new games but the only thing that turns me off is the fact that they are creating another set of never before seen pokemon. mix that with the fact that none of the previous pokemon ever made wont be in the game until you beat it. i love pokemon. i fall in love with certain ones and know what types and which pokemon to have. his just throws everything off the tracks for me. quality over quantity. we cant keep digesting new pokemon every two years. plus the variations on the artwork of new pokemon keep getting stranger and stranger for me. i primarily play TGC and this means alot more money spent to buy new cards of brand new pokemon and this also means that previous sets will be illegal very soon.

is there anyone out there at all that agrees with me?!?!?!?!!!!1!!!
 
well lets see...
get rid of trainers calling you
get better move designs
underground was useless
and maybe something new for a route lik eit transports you in the sky or in space....
 
There really are three things that I would KILL not to see anymore.
-Flash
-New HMS
-ZUBAT.

That really about sums it up :P
 
i dont care bout othere things all i want is to remove those fishermans with magikarps and buggers with only wrumple or some poke like that coz they are the annoying thing ever and juice up the trainers AI so that they can put some challenge and also remove evolution mechanics which depend on trading coz that sucks XD

Actually, if I remember correctly, it starts the weather of the faster one, then immediately cancels that and begins the weather of the slower pokemon.

Anyways, things I don't want to see:

I don't ever want to see Defog/Flash areas. Ever.

I don't want HMs that are unforgettable. With the removal of item storage, we always have HMs on us, so there's no point in keeping them unforgettable. We get stuck, worse case scenario we temporarily relearn the HM.

Stealth rock (at its current power). Severely hinders the viablilty of many potentially cool pokemon with a 1 turn setup. Made worse by the fact that so many things can learn it.

Slow walking speed. I liked in HG/SS that you could keep run on without having to hold the B button.

Voltorb flip. I'm decent enough at at, but I much prefer the slots...its classic pokemon!

I also don't want to remain unknown even after beating the Elite 4/champion. People need to recognize me if I talk to them. Add additional dialog. If you take the challenge again, have the Elite 4 recognize you, trash talking about how they've gotten better since the last time. Have trainers you've met re-challenge you to see if they can beat a Champion. At least have people in your own hometown congratulate you! Let players own the title. It can add to the post-game experience.

I don't want to see so many legendaries either. Its being overdone now. On a related note, lets tone down the mythology behind them as well...I mean, in the case of Arceus, you're basically saying a 10-year old kid with a metal ball captured the power of an alleged God.

Lastly, I don't want Honey Tree's to come back. Call me spoiled, but I much prefer the instant gratification of Headbutt over slathering honey on trees.

I agree totally, I can't a weak plot! I'm hoping for a big plot like that of Platinum version or Emerald version.

Also I want them to skip the battle tower and get right to battle fronteir. Pearl and Diamond would have been better with a whole battle fronteir instead of just the battle tower.

Oh yea, and I also don't want to see location eveloutions, those were just annoying.

Man, you people in here are angry. :P

- The lack of the ability to buy coins with your money.
- Pokemon not following you anymore. Otherwise, you're lonely. ;.;
- Another Rock and Water gym... get rid of one, please?
- Lack of the automatic running button.
 
I don't want to see most of the new pokemon in the new games. No joke, most of them are mediocre at best.
 
I don't want to see any gym leader or elite 4 have pokemon that is not of his type
like flint in diamond/pearl
 
i don't want a Victory Road as a Cave Anymore
i'm a huge fan of elaborate labyrinths and would like to see a huge labyrinth
with hidden passageways and junk! xDD and it would be nice if it's random and not Linear
i dont want to see people looking on walkthroughs for help xDD sounds very evil but it would be nice xDD

NOT just Cave Pokemon in Victory Road either e.g (Onix, Zubat, Machoke etc.) buhh!
i want every kind of random encounter possible xDD
Grass, Water, Trees(for strong Bug Types), Volcanic/Fire area etc. etc. within it
so it's not such a pain to level up your Party prior to the E4 and Champion
 
Oh one more thing:
I don't want to see another Fire/Fighting starter.

i agree with everyone about the cell phone. it's soo annoying.

but yesterday on my jap version of SS, this guy called me right in the beginning of the game and gave me a berry. how sweet~
 
I'm tired of contntly having to run away from wild pokemon in victory road. Just decease the encounter rate! It's so simple yet apparently so hard.
 
I would like the encounter rate in general to be lower, Well.. Espicially the places where your to stressed to think about encountering pokemon, Like above, The victory road. You're confused enough as it is.
 
^ I actually like that. Makes for a better challenge.

Well some fo the reasons the game is slow-paced all in all (i've heard) Is because The games were on a completly new engine, and alot of graphics had to run at the same time. You would never see a gba game load or even think about something (almost) as they only have a picture to display.
