6th Gen What if New Pokemon x & Y Starter has a mega stone!

It's been confirmed that no Gen VI Pokemon will have Mega Evolutions, starters included.
 
Hm, why? That seems odd, maybe they'll be in Pokemon Z?
 
It has been officially confirmed that no Kalos Pokémon will receive any Mega Evolutions as of this generation. Just remember next time to post any questions/thoughts regarding Mega Evolutions in the correct thread, here. :)
