What if they were real? rated 16+ (just in case any adult themes come up)

John

"You mean she was here?" John said. He pulled the boy to his feet and slammed him against a tree.
"And you just let her leave? Think fool! She's only a pup! What happens if she gets hurt!?" John snarled angrily. He knew he shouldn't be taking out his anger on this guy. He hadn't even done anything. It's not like he could have stopped Shadow from doing what she wanted to do. Before the other guy could respond a very loud explosion wrent the air. Nida shuddered and cringed. John dragged the other guy toward where the sound had come from.

"I'm going to assume that Shadow and your pokemon are in trouble. What kind of person leaves their pokemon to fend for themselves like that?" John snarled angrily. They had reached a large hole in the ground. Nida pulled on his pants leg.

"Nido!" she said urgently. John figured she would have been down there somewhere and Nida had just confirmed it.

"Now, go find your pokemon!" John said as he shoved the guy into the hole. John returned Nida and waited for the sound of the guy hitting the ground. He didn't have to wait long before he heard the loud thud. John figured that a fall from that height would not seriously hurt him. He jumped down too, and landed right on his rear.

"Agh! Damn it that hurt!" John said. He got to his feet and rubbed his sore backside. But he had other things to do. He walked off down into the tunnel.

Shadow

Shadow shut her eyes at the very loud explosion. When she opened them back up, she saw that Mynh and the Metang both didn't look too good. But the Metang was furious. It smacked Mynh hard, and knocked him into a wall. The male Zorua was also smacked away. Shadow tried to limp over to him and was blasted by a Signal Beam. She heard a loud thud, but thought nothing of it. She examined Metang. It was badly hurt. It would not last too much longer in a fight. But, it was still pounding the three of them! They needed help! She limped over to Mynh, who was closer.
"Hey... Go and get your trainer! We need some help!" she instructed him. Without waiting to see if he had left, Shadow turned to Metang and growled. She shot a Shadow Ball at it, but it missed. The pain was starting to effect her aim now. That was not good. The Metang fired a Signal Beam at her, but it missed as well. Whatever Mynh had done was more effective than anything Shadow and the other Zorua could have done.

(OOC: My gosh, John's a real A**hole!)
 
Shea
Shea landed at the floor of the tunnel in a faceplant. He nearly cursed. "Furcifer!" he proclaimed, insulting John as he came down. "You didn't have to frikkin' throw me down a well, y'know!" Mable growled and hopped down, landing in front of John and at Shea's side. "Mynh's down here, too. You think that explosion didn't scare me, too? Don't be such a jerk!"

Too busy ranting to properly think straight...

Mynh
Mynh fell down to the ground off the wall and got to his feet unusually fast after taking such a hit. He was hurt bad, but Metang looked considerably worse. "Shaymin!" he called out as he head back into the main tunnel.

As Mynh made it to the crossroad which he'd met Shadow at, he looked both ways and noticed Shea lecturing another kid - who was somewhat familiar. Oh! It's Shadow's trainer! He began scampering towards them and called out, "Shaymin!"
 
"Piss off! You knew that they were down here all along! So why didn't you come after them?" John said. He looked around and saw a Shaymin. What was one of those doing here? He pulled a pokeball off his belt, but thought better of it. Though it was a legendary pokemon, it looked incredibly weak. John heard a crash and a yelp and ran off down the tunnel. In his hand was Buster's pokeball. He reached a large cavern and saw Shadow and another Zorua. Both of them were backed up against the wall by a Metang. Shadow was growling profusely at the Metang, who blasted a Signal Beam, which hit her and knocked her out. It took aim at the other Zorua while John hurled his pokeball. Buster came out and glared at the Metang.

"Rhyhorn!" he challenged.
"Buster! Use Take Down!" John shouted. Buster charged at the Metang, and slammed into it. The Signal Beam went wild and the Metang turned around to see what had hit it. It zeroed in on Buster.
"Icy Wind!" John said. Buster ignored him and used Take Down again. The two large pokemon slammed into the wall. John ran over to Shadow. The other Zorua, a male, only saw another foe. He stepped, or should I say limped, in front of Shadow. He growled at John. God, he didn't have time for this! He tried to go around him, but the Zorua would not let him near Shadow. He finally tried to reach around and grab her and was knocked on his butt by a Shadow Claw.
 
"Keep your filthy paws off my Pokemon!" Shea screamed, enraged as John pulled out a Pokeball. Shea grumbled as John put it away, and grabbed Mynh , following behind John. Mable followed them as well. "I'll nab it so you can get to Shadow. Keep Metang off of Shaymin so I can weaken it," Shea said as he put on his glasses, letting down Mynh and facing the other Zorua.
 
John looked at Shea.
"Why should I help some idiot that keeps screaming at me? Shadow return. How the h*** was I supposed to know that Shaymin was yours? It's not like you told me that you had a Shaymin! Just keep pushing me, and see what happens. Keep pushing, I dare you," John said as he pulled out Shadow's pokeball and returned her. He'd much rather have picked her up with his own two hands. He knew she hated being in the pokeball. Oh well, he turned his attention back to Buster and the Metang.

Buster was still weak from the fight with Earl, and got hit hard with a Flash Cannon. He fainted. Well, at least there was something in this cave he wanted. Let's see here. John had Nida and Aquanis left. Nida was undamaged. Aquanis had Night Slash, but he was hurt from the fight earlier. John was kicking himself a little for not stopping at a pokemon center, but he would deal with it. He supposed sending a rock type out against the steel type had not been a good idea, but Buster had been the only pokemon in his hand at the time. He just grabbed and threw. This time he sent out Aquanis.

"Dewott! Dewott!" Aquanis yelled angrily at the Metang, who used Psybeam to shoot at him. The rainbow colored beam was deflected by Aquanis's shell, which was glowing with dark energy. He charged up to it and leapt into the air, twisting to dodge the arm that was swung at him and slashing down on Metang's head. Metang could take no more, and sank to the ground. Shadow, that male Zorua, and the Shaymin must have done some real damage to it. So what. John knew a good opportunity when he saw one. That thing was just as durable as Buster is! John smirked and tossed the pokeball at it and watched as it fell to the ground and began shaking. A moment later, the ball clicked and disappeared, as he had six pokemon on him already.
"Dewott! Dewott!" Aquanis yelled happily.
"I got mine, how about you?" John said with a smirk as he turned to the other guy.
 
The second grunt turned still holding the tied up boy back.

"What the hell are you two doing here!?" He demanded, venom trickling through his voice.

"To stop you dweebs from taking peoples pokemon!!" Kitten spoke up noticing Saber as she called out Doom. "Doom, Saber! Knock him down and get the boy to safety!"

Doom smirked as he faced Grunt 2 running towards the grunt as Saber did the same, shadows covering the Absols paws as he neared the grunt. The Houndoom's claws did the same as they ran in pace glancing at eachother as they broke away coming at the grunt2 jumping and slashing at the grunt and the ropes binding the boy.

"GAH!!" The grunt hissed out jumping back to aviod being torn to shreds. "Carnivine! Donphan!!" He called the two pokemon to fight against the two dark pokemon.
 
"Why you little!" Grunt 1 took out Tentacruel & Weavile. A dark & ice pokemon could be tough.

"Come out Furball!" Sky & Furball were ready for battle. "Bite Carnavine Sky! Furball, Assist on Tentacruel!" Silver commanded as Sky charged at Carnavine with his teeth. Furball used Assist, borrowing a move from Electro & using Spark on Tentacruel, causing immense damage. Tentacruel fainted.

"This battle is intense!" He said to Kitten as the battle continued.
 
"How about we stop yelling at eachother and start being civil, or is that above you?" Shea asked calmly. "Right. Mynh, use Giga Drain," he said, assuring himself that Mynh would be healthy in time. Mynh drew power from the injured and angry Zorua, which caused it to quiver and shake. "And I'll go ahead and go for it," Shea said, throwing a Pokeball at it.

"And now I've got a Zorua. I'll call him Zephyr," Shea said as he kicked the ball into his palm. "Poor thing, Metang had hurt it terribly..."
 
"Hmph. You started it. I'm John. Who are you, and why do you have a Shaymin?" John said as he turned around. He bent down and picked up Aquanis. He had felt bad for the other Zorua, but he was more concerned about Shadow. And, at the present, he knew they needed to get out of this cavern.
"I'm out of here. You coming or what?" John said. He turned around and began walking out of the cavern. He saw another, smaller path, but it was just barely big enough for him to fit through. Soon, he emerged into the sunlight. He sat down with his back against a tree. He knew he was in bad shape. If the HA came along, would he be able to defend himself from them with only Aquanis and Nida? Probably. The HA was full of clowns that couldn't handle a real fight. But, what if Tydus came back? Well, not even John's full team could take him on. So, there was no point in worrying about it. He sat down and rested, trying to decide what to do.

Israel paced back and forth in the cell, to tell the truth he kind of liked it.

Israel was a loner, and he liked to have his own space to himself.

For a moment he forgot his circumstances, and then agent Smith came.

"Congratulations Mr. Mcfarline, you're free" said agent Smith opening the cell door.

Israel smiled, "What's the matter agent man? Gone soft? Or did the democrats finally get full control and let out all the prisoners?"

"Your girlfriend made a deal, you're cleared of all charges" said agent Smith.

"And what about her?" asked Israel? "She works for us now" said agent Smith smiling arrogantly.

Israel stopped, "You were using me as bait weren't you?" he said.

"Of course not" he said with the same arrogant smile, "we'd never do a thing like that."

Israel was escorted out of the building and was picked up in a black car, in the car he was given back his bag and his Pokemon.

"Where are we going?" Israel asked agent Smith. "We're going to see Yasumi" said agent Smith, "you won't be seeing her for a while."

"What do you mean?" asked Israel. "We're sending her to work immediately" replied Smith, "she requested to see you before she was sent away."

A heaviness came over the heart of Israel, heck of a way to spend my birthday, he thought.

Israel then pulled out something from his bag, it wouldn't be all bad, if what he had planned worked out this day could be one of the greatest days of his life.
 
Shea followed John, denying him an answer to his question. He just picked him Mynh and ordered Mable to follow in Latin.

As they came out of the cavern, Shea put away his glasses and knelt down near the tree John leaned against. "How did I start it? I figured I wouldn't be able to fit into whatever hole they went into, so I let them roam free. At least I didn't let my Pokemon wander all the way to Arkansas."
 
"Arkansas? How the heck did she get all the way to Arkansas? It's literally not possible!" John said. He frowned. There was no way she could run that fast! Not and still get back here. He had to know the full story. What had happened to her. He pulled out a Revive and called the still fainted Shadow out. He used the item on her, and she jumped from the chemicals hitting her wounds.

"Shadow? What happened to you after you took off during my battle? This guy says you were in Arkansas!" John said. Shadow looked sheepishly at him. He picked her up gently and she relaxed a little.

"Err, I was following the best smelling scent ever! It... It was that Zorua! Then, as I got closer, it just disappeared! I tried to find it, but I couldn't! So, I looked for you, Johnny! But, I couldn't find you either! I ran into Shea and he said he'd help me find you! And he did! I'm so happy!" Shadow said,, starting to cry a little. John was a little irked that she had run off like that. Damn hormones. Oh, well, it wasn't her fault. He'd just have to start keeping a closer eye on her. But, what she described sounded a lot like being teleported. Metang didn't have that move. So how had that happened? He glanced at Shea.

"Well, I guess I should thank you for looking after Shadow. But next time keep a better eye on the pokemon under your care! Shadow got hurt, and so did your Shaymin! Take better care of any pokemon you are looking after!" John said. He reached into his bag and tossed Shea a few potions, figuring he didn't have any. He nodded his thanks at Shea.

Earl flipped open his phone and read the text message from John. Sighing at this, Earl put his phone up. He had been looking for John for a while now, but he gave up a while ago. Why? First off, he had decided to train his Pokemon some. Second, two individals dressed in oddly-familiar black bodysuits were now walking towards him. Being quick to see the silver L on the bodysuits, Earl figured them out to be uniforms of some sort.

"Excuse me," said Earl as he tried to get past them, but both of them got in front of him again... Wait a minute... Earl recognized those black bodysuits... The man who gave him a busted lip in Jackson, MS wore one exactly like them, except he wore a mask with it.

"William Earl Stevens, Jr., correct?" asked the lady in the black uniform, her long red hair and brown eyes immediately coming to Earl's attention. Earl simply nodded at her, not having heard his full name in a long time. Plus, he was wanting to know what these two knew about that man in black.

"We are members of the organization known as Legion," began the young man with blue curly hair. "We have come at the request of our leader, MiB, to ask you if you would like to join us.

"I'm sorry, but what is Legion? Who is MiB?" asked Earl, curious as to who this MiB was and what Legion was about.

"We are a group that strive for peace between both humans and Pokemon while trying to stop the Human Alliance and Team Plasma from accomplishing their goals," said both members at the same time, standing straight and tall as they did so. Earl could tell these guys were pros. Very well-disciplined... He liked the sounds of this Legion. An opportunity to join an organization that would fight against the Human Alliance? Sounds good... But they didn't answer his second question.

"And my second question?"

"MiB is our fearless leader. He was once a high-ranking member of Team Plasma and the Human Alliance. Not agreeing with the views of either group, he broke off from them and founded Legion recently. We are still relatively unknown, but MiB plans to change that."

Nodding his head, Earl began thinking hard... This would be his chance for revenge against the Human Alliance for what they did to Yasumi... However, something wasn't right here. Earl didn't know exactly what, but he could feel it. Then a thought came to his mind. Was this MiB and the man wearing the black bodysuit in Jackson, MS the same guy? That guy was known as being the Man in Black, that much Earl knew, but... Hang on. M-i-B. Man in Black...

"So, I take that this MiB is the man formerly known as the Man in Black?" asked Earl, his deduction skills shocking the duo. When they nodded at him, Earl just shook his head.

"Sorry, but I don't associate myself with criminals. Have a nice day," said Earl as he began walking away, only for the man with blue hair to suddenly push Earl from behind. Quickly, Earl got back up, grabbed two of his Pokeballs from his pocket, and tossed them, revealing Judas and Leonidas, freshly healed from their battle from before and even stronger than then.

"If you won't accept the offer, then we will force you. After we beat you and your weak Pokemon, we'll take them away, and you'll be a member of Legion anyway!" shouted the girl as she tossed a Great Ball, revealing a Houndoom as the young man threw out an Ultra Ball, revealing a Sableye. Seeing that these Pokemon looked to be as strong as his, Earl pointed at the two individuals.

"You will lose. Judas, we learned our lesson from before, use Calm Mind followed by Dark Pulse on the Sableye! Leonidas, Hydro Pump the Houndoom!"

Judas, having forgotten Nasty Plot, suddenly stopped moving, appearing to become calmer as he seemed to take a deep breath. After that, he unleashed Dark Pulse, hitting the Sableye with surprising speed while Leonidas shot a geyser of water towards the Houndoom, hitting his target as well. If things kept on going like this, Earl would have this in the bag!
 
The black car came to a stop by the side of the road, Israel and agent Smith got out and walked into a forest like area until they came to a designated spot.

Waiting there was Yasumi with two Federal Agents dressed in black, Israel went to greet her, "well look at you miss fancy with your federal body guards dressed up in their little suits" he said smiling happy to see her. He then turned to the agents, "and don't you look adorable in them, your big boys now" he said mockingly. "Privacy please" said Yasumi to the agents, and they left.

Yasumi just stood there and stared at Israel for a second emotionally, Israel had stopped in his tracks too and stared back wondering what she would do next. Yasumi then embraced Israel hard, "thank goodness you're okay" she said in tears.

"Hey come on it's okay" said Israel, "what were they going to do? Waterboard me? Heck our presidents too much of a sissy to even do that, it's fine."

Yasumi just continued to cry, "I'm ju-just crying because I won't be able to see you for a while" she said, "you s-saved me from the Human Alliance, you put me on the right path, you-you......" she lost herself in her tears.

"I'm not crying" said Israel, "not today because this is going to be one of the happiest days of my life." Yasumi stopped, Israel pulled a small case out from his pocket and knelt down.

Israel then opened the case and pulled out a ring, "Yasumi, will you marry me."

The Sableye was instantly knocked out while the Houndoom seemed to have trouble getting up from the Hydro Pump. When the Sableye was returned, the boy sent out something that shocked Earl. He had sent out a Sharpedo, and Earl immediately began not liking his chances.

"Houndoom, use Flamethrower on the Spiritomb!" shouted the girl, catching Earl off-guard. Her comrade's Sharpedo had just evolved the day before, but Earl didn't know that. For all he knew, that Sharpedo was at level fifty and ready to bite some heads off!

"Sharpedo, use Slash on the Croconaw!" shouted the boy as his Sharpedo suddenly charged at Leonidas with surprising speed for being out of water. Teeth open wide, it went past Leonidas, striking him. Clutching the marks on his belly, Leonidas kneeled, but he was still in. Plus, that Sharpedo made the worst mistake of its life.

It pissed off Leonidas.

Becoming enveloped in blue light, Leonidas unleashed Superpower, striking the Sharpedo with a powerful punch. The Sharpedo was sent far back, but it was still in the game. Earl, happy that Leonidas was able to think for himself, looked over at Judas, who took the Flamethrower attack like a champ, as expected.

"Judas, use Hypnosis on the Houndoom. Leonidas, Dragon Pulse!"

Judas' eyes glowed yellow as he laughed at the Houndoom while making eye contact. Seeing the Houndoom suddenly drop to the ground, Earl smiled. That Houndoom was getting knocked out next.

Leonidas suddenly fired the blue and white beam of energy at the Sharpedo, which simply hopped to the side, dodging it.

"Sharpedo, Crunch!"

Earl gulped, knowing full well that a Sharpedo's jaw was known for being able to bite through steel... But there was a counter for that.

"Leondias, Superpower again!"

Glowing once again, Leonidas punched the Sharpedo right before it was able to latch its jaws on him. Earl had noticed that Leonidas' attack just then looked considerably weaker, but it was worth it when Earl saw the Sharpedo sent to its trainer, knocked out cold.

"Judas, use Shadow Sneak on the Houndoom!" shouted Earl as Judas' entire body became black. It then sank into the ground and suddenly went straight for the Houndoom, sending it back to its trainer as well. It was no longer asleep, but it was knocked out. As both Pokemon were returned, the boy looked furious.

"All my Pokemon are out. Get him Leia!" shouted the boy as Leia tossed out a Pokeball, revealing a gigantic steel snake... Not good.

"Return Judas," said Earl, returning Leonidas to his Pokeball while seeing Leonidas roar at the Steelix. He might be hurt, but he was gonna make sure that that Steelix was knocked out before he was!

"Hmph. Luke, go ahead and go to Headquaters. Let MiB know Earl's coming with me," said Leia as Luke began running away. Earl wanted to follow him, but there was a giant obstacle in the way.

"All right. Let's do this. Leonidas, Hydro Pump!"

"CROC!" shouted Leonidas as he blasted the steel snake with the geyser of water. The Steelix, despite being part Ground-type, just took the attack head on, charging at Leonidas.

"Steelix, use Iron Head!"

Head glowing silver, the beast struck Leonidas, sending the blue alligator a hundred yards away. Earl clenched his fist at this. Leonidas was at a huge disadvantage here. He was physically weak, and it was obvious it was several levels lower than the Steelix. Still though, Leonidas would push through. Earl knew that much.

"Israel, I don't know what to say," said Yasumi shocked. "Say the stereotypical I do," said Israel with an expectant look on his face.

"It's just that," she started. "It's just that what?" asked Israel with the feeling that he might be disappointed.

"It's just that we'll have to wait so longm" she said. "Who cares?" said Israel, "do you remember the story of Jacob and Rachel?"

Yasumi stopped, she had never been taught this story by the Gentleman. "Then allow me to tell it" said Israel.

"In the Bible there was a man named Jacob who loved a women named Rachel, Jacob loved this women so much that he agreed to wait through seven years of hard labor to marry her. However because he loved her so much, those years only felt like a couple of days," said Israel telling the story.

"Israel...." said Yasumi shocked. "Do you know what Jacobs other name was?" asked Israel. Yasumi had nothing to say so Israel answered for her, "his name was Israel. And just like him It will only seem a few days to me, but what about you Yasumi? How long will it be for you?"

Yasumi thought for a few seconds and then put the ring on her finger, "I will marry you but you need to promise me something."

"Anything, just name it," said Israel. "You must promise me that you'll become the Pokemon League Champion," she said. Israel was overjoyed, "I wouldn't have it any other way," he said.

((I like it Aspie. Much improved in my opinion. Now if we could work on punctuation and capitalization. No offense, but it does make your sentences hard to read sometimes. Just being honest here.))

Leonidas got up again, slowly this time as he stared at the Steelix in front of him. He then raised his right claw and flipped it off, smirking as he did so. This caused the Steelix to roar in anger at the Croconaw as it charged at Leonidas.

"Steelix wait!" shouted Leia, not liking that her Steelix was provoked so easily. Earl just smiled at Leonidas.

"Leonidas, use Hydro Pump, followed by Ice Punch!" shouted Earl as Leonidas fired off the Hydro Pump, hitting the beast head on again. This time it seemed to take considerable damage from the attack. However, the beast was still charging at Leonidas, who jumped in the air and landed on the snake, striking the head with his left claw covered in icy energy.

Now, Earl knew better than to use a physical move against a Pokemon known for its physical defense, but when said Pokemon was drenched in water, the results were extraordinary as the Steelix suddenly became frozen solid. Mad about what just happened, Leia returned the frozen Pokemon and began walking away.

"Expect us!" was all Earl heard from her as he hugged Leonidas, proud of him for taking out two extremely powerful Pokemon. Leonidas hugged Earl back... But an all too familiar glow happened.

Earl, delightfully surprised, took several steps back as he watched Leonidas' form change and grow taller. Within a few seconds, a Feraligatr wearing a black fedora hat, which somehow grew with it, was standing where the Croconaw once was.

"Leonidas?" asked Earl, making sure he wasn't seeing things as Leonidas let out a roar that could be heard from a mile away. The Feraligatr then walked over to Earl and held out his fist, which Earl promptly fist-bumped. Leonidas was now a Feraligatr!

Seven

Seven and Eight walked back into their little room. She was overjoyed! Her training was going well. Eight had jumped ten levels since they started. But, she didn't really like how rough the training was. Eight didn't seem to mind. He leapt up on the bed and lay down and started purring. Seven looked around. She spotted someone trying to hide in the closet. She pulled out her new pokeball, which contained a Flaffy, and advanced toward the door. She yanked it open and let out a cry of surprise. There was a small boy standing just inside. He stepped out and it was revealed that he was about 12 years old. He had short cropped red her, several shades darker than hers, and soft grey eyes that were full of warmth. On his face was a caring smile, and many lines. Under his eyes were large dark circles, and his hair was thinning. He had very pale, almost white skin, and he was terribly thin.

"Hey there Seven! Haven't seen you in a few weeks!" he said with a grin. She hugged him, careful not to break his weak bones. He returned the hug weakly.

"Six! I'm so glad to see you! What's going on? Why are you back?" Seven said. She was extremely happy to see him. He was the only person in this place that ever cared about her for who she was and not what she was or what she could do. He had been the one before her, but there was something wrong with him. They didn't know what it was exactly, or if they did they weren't telling her.

"I was hoping you wouldn't ask. I'm getting worse, Seven. It's really bad. I've always been frail, but this is the worst it's ever been. My mind is stretched thin. I... I can barely think anymore. They don't know how long I have left. I could have weeks, days, or even minutes. So, they sent me back here to you, seeing as I'm failed. I'm afraid my mind was incompatable," Six whispered to his little sister. She didn't know what he was talking about, but he did. A year and a half ago, they had injected them both with a serum to try and give them the powers of pokemon. His body had rejected it, but hers hadn't. So, his mind, and by extention his body, were wasting away to this... Whatever it was. And she was barely able to use hers. It was a terrible fate, but he had accepted it. He just hoped that he would see that she got away from here before he died. If only Five would come back! Six knew his big brother, wherever he was, would not stand for this! But, he had no way of contacting him. Or did he? A plan started to form in his mind. Maybe... Maybe that could work. He put his hand on his pokeball. He only had the one, but his Kirlea was very helpful. He had no idea where she had come from, but he was glad to have her. Maybe she would be just strong enough. Because he and his sister, if you could even call them that, weren't. He knew what they were, though he wasn't sure she did. He limped over and sat on the bed and began petting Eight. The silver furred Eevee meowed happily at him, and went back to his nap. Tonight, he would try. If he got in trouble, then so what? What could they do to him? Kill him? He was dead already! He just hadn't reached the right time to go yet!
 
((Excusez-moi? I beg to differ. Earl will become the next Pokemon League Champion! :P))

It took a while, but through rigorous battling and training, Earl smiled at what was now his full team of Pokemon. They had worked oh so hard. One Pokemon, however, was farther behind than everyone else, and that was Joan the Yanma. It's not that she hasn't been trained. In face, she was at level thirty-two now. It was just that she was Earl's lowest-leveled Pokemon. Leonidas and Brutus were both now at level forty-one with Mary and Judas close behind them at level forty! Hera the Ferroseed was even at level thirty-nine.

"Joan, I know it's tough to stay in the game with the others, but you got to pull through this! We need you to catch up!"

The Yanma simply buzzed at this, sad. She wasn't one to want to see Earl disappointed, but she was trying. It was just too tough.

"Maybe we should train you against... What the heck is that?" asked Earl, being interrupted by a hissing sound. There was a snake nearby... Maybe it was a snake Pokemon? Hey, that would be a good chance to train Joan!

"All right Joan, find where that sound is coming from!"

Joan did as told, immediately finding the snake Pokemon it was coming from. It was a Seviper, and it looked to be looking at Joan like she was its next meal!

Hearing the loud buzzing, Earl ran to the sound, seeing Joan in the mouth of a Seviper. Well, it looked like a Seviper, just a different color. Earl's eyes widened at this. A Shiny Seviper in Dallas, TX? OH HELL YEAH!

"Joan, use Psychic!" said Earl as Joan's eyes glowed blue. Instantly, the Seviper let go of her, hissing in pain as it shook its head, regaining its senses. Suddenly, it coiled its body and concentrated. It didn't take Earl long to see what was happening.

"Joan, it's using Coil! Fly up!" shouted Earl as Joan began to, only to be frozen in midair. The Seviper's eyes were glowing red, causing the Yanma to become paralyzed as Joan crashed into the ground. Earl recognized this as Glare. Good move. Then the Seviper started slithering towards the Yanma, ready to eat her.

"Joan, Ominous Wind!"

Able to move for now, Joan let loose the ghostly wind, striking the Seviper hard. Earl smiled at this as he got ready a Pokeball.

"One more time Joan, Psychic!"

With Joan's eyes glowing blue once more, the Seviper once again hissed in pain, shouting its name after the attack ended. It then lied down, too tired to fight back. Earl threw the Pokeball, sending the Seviper into it.

Earl smiled when he picked up the Pokeball, seeing that he had caught the Shiny Seviper. The Pokeball then disappeared, which Earl smiled at. He would check it out when he got to a Pokemon Center.

When Earl turned around, he saw Joan contemplating something. Knowing that look, Earl went over to her.

"Forget Sonic Boom if you have to."

Having no idea what she was fixing to do, Joan did so and began glowing blue. Suddenly, rocks came out of the ground and flew towards a tree, destroying it. Joan had obviously level-up and now knew Ancient Power.

"Good job Joan!" said Earl as Joan began glowing white, her body becoming longer and its eyes becoming larger. When the glowing stopped, Earl's grin grew wide.

"Seems that learning Ancient Power allowed you to unlock the ancient power within you," said Earl as he petted the new Yanmega, using a Full Restore on it. Earl was thankful that he had found that little item. Joan buzzed loudly in happiness, which caused Earl to cover his ears again.

"Well, let's get started with the serious stuff."

Israel deposited his Electabuzz into the PC and then withdrew the Pokemon that Yasumi had given him before she had left.

"Take care of this Pokemon," she said, "It's the Pokemon that I told you to capture at the Safari Zone, it's known as the Irate Pokemon so it may be tough to bond with, but if you do it will learn a powerful attack known as Draco Meteor."

Israel then released the Deino from it's Pokeball and tried to pet it. The Deino then snapped at Israel's hand. "What the heck?" said Israel out loud, he then tried to pet it again with the same results.

Israel kept reaching for it and kept getting snapped at. "Alright fine you're hungry" said Israel pulling out some pokemon food. It then ravenously devoured the food in 15 seconds shocking Israel. "Deino," it said asking for more.

"No I think that's enough, the others have to eat too," said Israel. The Deino then ran over to Israel's bag and started ripping at it with it's teeth. "Hey what are you doing you ugly little freak? I'm gonna give you to the count of three to stop, 1, 2, thr.....," Deino then turned it's attention to Israel baring it's fangs.

It's fangs then glowed yellow and it used thunder fang as it lept at Israel, Israel responded by throwing Deino's Pokeball at it returning it. Irate Pokemon huh? well it's gonna learn to listen real soon thought Israel, now I've gotta get a new bag.
