Plot: In 1963 the world changed forever. Reports came all over the world of creatures breathing fire, creating blizzards, displaying psychic ability, and other strange feats, by 1969 these creatures were everywhere. Humanity had to learn to adapt to these strange creatures, and indeed they did, and in the 1970's humanity created a wonder of technology, a device used to capture and control the strange monsters that humans feared so much, the device could capture the creatures and tame them, and it could even fit in a person's pocket. For this reason it was named the pocket ball or pokeball for short, and the strange creatures were named pokemon. Now it was common place for people to keep pokemon as pets, after all, they could understand human speech and truly loved their masters. Humans all over the world made a sport of battling these pokemon, it was not regarded like **** fighting because the pokemon actually seemed to enjoy it. All in all the world now welcomed these pokemon, but opposing view points create problems. Two groups formed with radically different views on pokemon, team plasma, a far left radical group based on the Knights templer that fought and still fights for for pokemon liberation, they believe that humans treat pokemon like slaves and cattle even though pokemon are as smart as humans, they hate how humans hunt pokemon and turn them into battle slaves even so, team plasma uses pokemon to do their bidding. The other group is a far right radical group called the human alliance, they believe that pokemon are a threat to humanity, they see pokemon like Palkia and Dialga that can control time and space, and other pokemon like metagross and Alakazam that are smarter than humans, and they are afraid of humans being replaced by pokemon, even so they also use pokemon to do their bidding. Both groups have well intent.

    Name: Kitten Aroha

    Gender: Female

    Age: 11

Bio: Kitten on first glance would seem a very hyper trainer by the way she dresses with her black hair up in a spikey ponytail with a scruffy fringe. Along with her hair she usualy dresses in faded knee-ripped jeans and a purple jacket with a moon on the back. Kitten herself is very pale and has dark brown freackles along her nose and upper cheeks, making her light blue eyes stand out alot.

Personality: Kitten is very shy when you first meet her, then as you slowly crack through her defensive shell, as most would say, she will protect you with her life and pretty much follow you around like a lost puppy. She loves her pokemon very much and wouldn't even dream of over working them, though they always seem to push themselves that little bit further when Danger is present.

Pokemon: Cookie (female Growlithe level 10) and Doom (male Houndoom level 15)

Pokemon personalities:Cookie is the type of Poke that will always try to make you laugh when your feeling down, she also has a habbit of tackling you for hugs if she likes you. Doom is more sinister and protective, though does show signs of kindness and get jelous very easily, so in other words watch out or he'll try to burn your tail off!

Seems pretty interesting. Here's my SU

    Name: Johnathon "John" Brooks

    Gender: Male

    Age: 15

    Group: Trainer

Appearence: John is a rather tall slender young man. He has straight, dark red hair that hangs down to his shoulders. His eyes are a deep dark shade of gray that are cold, yet intelligent. He carries himself in a way that he believes let's others know that he means buisness. That means that he stands up straight and tall, and usually has a look of scorn or arrogence on his face. He wears a comfortable pair of black converse, with baggy black jeans. His shirt is the same shade of red as his hair, though how he got a shirt that color is anyones guess.

History: Jon grew up in New York City. At the age of three, his father had joined the Human Alliance. John's father was a man with a drinking problem, and he began abuse his wife and sons. John's older brother, James, ran away while John was still 6 years old. After another 3 years of living with the physical and verbal abuse, John's mother died. She didn't have the will to live anymore, and it was just John and his father. At the age of 11, John began to rebel against his father. He'd developed quite an anger problem himself, and the two of them would fight each other, beating each other senseless. Over the years, John had became cold. He got into fights at school and had terrible grades. The other children began to fear and avoid him. One day, John was walking home from school, and came across a Charmander. It was the first thing that didn't fear his presence. John instantly fell in love with the little pokemon, and it returned his feeling. John hid the little guy fromm his father, but took him to school and battled everyong he could. The other children found they liked battling him with pokemon better than they did with fists, because they would win from time to time. Jon himself was quite surprised at how adept he was at battling. This went on for quite a while, and his grades went up, and he was slowly getting more friends. One day, he found an Oshowat being attacked by some grunts from the Human Allience. Looking for a fight, he stepped in boldly and challenged the two men. He didn't realize that one of them was his father. His Charmander beat both of their wimpy pokemon at the same time, and then his father exploded on him. He yelled all kinds of things, and John was sick of it. He told his father to go jump in a lake, picked up the Oshowat, and ran, his Charmander just behind him. He never looked back.

Personality: John is very cold. He says cruel things to any who try to get close to him. He doesn't trust anyone but himself, and his two pokemon. But if you say or do anything that he takes offense to, then he will try to fight you. He absolutely adores his pokemon, but doesn't usually care too much about anyone elses. He is very good at what he does, although, most of that is related to pokemon, he doesn't much care about anything else. He has learned to be self-reliant, and hates depending on other people for anything. He has learned that no one is interested in helping him just to help him. Or maybe it's just that no one wants to help him, something that seems to be true, given that his cold and callous manner tends to drive people away. He keeps everyone at a distance, and hates when people get into his personnal space. He has made it his mission to destroy the Human Allience, simply because his father is in it. That isn't to say he's a part of Team Plasma. He would rather die than give up his pokemon.

Pokemon: Cnarmander (Cinder); male, level 15, Oshowat (Aquanis); male level 13

    Pokemon personalities.

Cinder is very bold. He never hesitates to put himself in danger, especially for John. He also is more than a bit arrogant, but that is only natural considering the fact that he is very tough in battle.

Aquanis is rather friendly and out going. He is quick to make friends with other pokemon. He likes to goof off quite a bit. He goes to great lengths to make John happy and proud of him.

Awesome! Thanks for accepting me. To be honest, John is a bit different than the characters I usually play (usually I play someone friendly and outgoing), so this should be very interesting for me. Glad to be a part of this. :)

Izuya_Namikaze your accepted, ant it's okay cookie this is my first roleplay ever so I might slip up.

    Now for my character

    Name: John Israel McCfarlane
    Age: 17
    Gender: Male

Bio: John goes by his middle name Israel, he is the son of a former Pokemon league champion Tydus McCfarlane. Israel's dad died from mysterious circumstances when he was young and because of this he has vowed to become the league champion in his father's honor. He has just graduated high school and has started on his journey to get the 17 US badges and enter the league tournament, if he wins he will become champion. He has an Autism Spectrum Disorder called Aspergers Syndrome.

Personality: Because of Israel's Asperger Syndrome, he has no friends, save his pokemon, in fact he has a fear of social interactions because of his experience with other teenagers. He is also obsessed with pokemon, and knows most everything about them, this is also do to his syndrome with cause him to hyper focus on one subject. Also because of this syndrome, he has a strictly logical outlook on things. Because of this people tend to think that he's a heartless, unempathetic person, but nothing could be farther from the truth. He just believes that being a slave to your emotions is foolish, he's the kind of person who wouldn't give a homeless man money for fear of feeding his drug habit. He also has a black and white outlook on things, you are either right or wrong, their is no in between according to him. He is very opinionated and will debate you tooth and nail over his opinions. Now all of these traits do not mean that he acts like a boring robot, in fact if you talked to him and got past all of this, he is a very down to earth human being who may even crack jokes, even if some of them are only funny to him. He is a Bible believing Christian conservative.

    Pokemon
    Treeko, level 14, male

    Mudkip, level 14, male

    Pokemon Personalities
    Treeko is calm and collected
    Torchic is fiery and aggressive
    Mudkip is timid and cowardly

Almost forgot, he is from Myrtle Beach South Carolina and I forgot his appearance.

Appearance: Israel is Skinny white caucasoid and has long blonde hair, it doesn't reach his shoulders though and is worn in a way that goes with the way he looks, he has brown eyes, he wears a black Degeneration X T-shirt (DX from WWE look it up) with black long sleeved shirt underneath it, he also wears normal blue jeans and a pair of New Balance sneakers, the look on his face shifts from cocky, to emotionless, to that of a cold blooded killer depending on his mood.

Oh dear, it looks as though our characters may not get along to well. Heh, that's fine with me. And I'm a bit new to RPs myself. This is my fourth one ever. So good luck to all of us. :D

Yeah, I don't think they would at the start but it would be interesting to see them grow more tolerant of each other and maybe even become friends at the end. Or maybe it would be interesting for them to hate each other for the whole time and see how they react to one another.

Hopefully I can still sign up! :3

    ----

    Alignment:

    Team Plasma

He's shaky on the details, but the thought of liberating pokemon from "bad trainers," or so they say, seems like a good idea and they give him pay. Pokemon, like his Lombre, follow him without the need of a Pokeball, and he believes other could have the same situations. He works as a of gatherer of intel.

    Name:

    Oliver Velten Knett

    Gender:

    Male

    Age:

    17

    Bio:

His skin is a fair Caucasian, to the point where his skin and bold colors create a fine contrast. His eyebrows are quite arched and seem to be locked into place due to lack of movement, and each brow has a downward facing triangle shape where they begin in the center to start them off. His facial features are sharp, even his smile is rigid in shape. He has an angular beard to match, neatly shaven to lines with a little point on his chin in the form of a downwards triangle, to match his eyebrows. He has this defaulting subtle smile and half-lowered eyes. His eyes don't seem to sparkle in any form of the word, giving this sinister look about him. His hair color is a deep black. The hair on top of his head is pointed into nice spikes that cast towards his left side while the rest of his hair is spiked downward and neatly placed. His eyes are a pale green. He is 6"1. His upper-body strength isn't anything special, with slightly presentable muscles. His real strength is in his legs, as they are nicely wrapped with muscle and have good tone to them, definitely telling that he practices and enjoys running, and he's fairly good at doing so.

His clothing consists of a nicely fitted black-and-white stripped sleeveless undershirt He also wears a dogtag that is blank besides a tiny number five imprinted in the center of it. His pants are made of a canvas material and are ever-so-slightly loose. They are a fairly pale green and have two button-able pockets on each side; and not that they're slapdash or anything, but they have that certain "home-made" quality to them. Finally, his shoes are laced exercise shoes that have a slightly thick sole, increasing his height by a couple of centimeters. They themselves have a peculiar black-and-white design imprinted on them and are probably designed to place more agitation on the legs to tone them.

    Personality:

Oliver is a very capable person. His stature is always calm and tame, and he gives excellent eye-contact that borders on sarcastic when accompanying his default face composure, especially that smirk of his. He has tremendous confidence, and will never show any change in persistence to some sort of mutual compromise- never seeming to change that look on his face, as it were glued. His body language borders that of none besides moving his hands to comfortable positions on top of each other and crossing his legs when sitting. On the outside, it seems like he has no tell…. no ticks whatsoever. He has allure of fright around him. He's charming and hospitable in approach, even to strangers.

On the inside workings of his brain, he is creative when it comes to problem solving and thinking quick on his feet. He's "persuasive," as he calls it, and can usually manage to get to some goal requiring another person- without the other person ever feeling the notion that they are being manipulated, er, "persuaded." However, he's a bit impulsive on his decisions, not helping the fact that he's definitely hubristic. This can to complex situations and conversations that he can't weasel himself from out of.

He's definitely has got some aggressive tendencies, showing in assertiveness in the most minor exhibitions, up to the point of sadism when in a superior position. He channels it into everyday things when needed, such as power of tone when speaking, into running, etc.

Also, he doesn't know where to draw the line. With anything. It's about that simple: Relentless.
He definitely exhibits a greedy undercurrent when getting what he desires. And showing determination…. in one of its more, shall we say, undesirable forms.

    Pokemon:

    "Aillo"
    Lv. 15

Aillo the Lombre is Adamant in nature. He's very stubborn about his tactics on things, and is not one to usually take consideration of another's feelings, that bordering on selfishness. The only person he's really grown attached to is, of course, Oliver, and acts a henchman of sorts. Oliver has had Aillo since he was hatched. His defense stat is good. He is painted with a special day-of-the-dead design from one day at a festival. He has no pokeball and walks around freely.

    "Dya"
    Lv. 1

A recently hatched Swinub, and is Quiet in nature. She is a newborn, recently hatched from an egg Oliver had obtained in a festival. She's very sleepy, and not much of a fighter. Oliver has no intention for battling with her, and intends to trade her for something better along the way. She has a good health stat. She has a little Mohawk of sorts on her forehead. She is usually carried around in a simple Pokeball to provide shelter and for Oliver's convience.

Alright, hope you like the Sign Up. This is my favorite character I have ever made, so I hope this RP makes it ^.^

    Faction: Team Plasma

    Name: Lynette (Lindsay) Geoux DePouilles

    Gender: Female

    Age: 16

Bio: "DePouilles" is a name known all around France for the modern empire that has erected during the 20th century. Lynette's father's story is a true "rags to riches" story, beginning in the humble town of Bolbec. His father owned a small shipping company that used Bolbec's port to transfer homemade goods throughout Europe. After his father's death, DePouilles II took over the industry and made some small investments in a fast food restaurant that exploded across America within a few months. Soon, after moving to Colorado, he met the woman he would later marry: Clarisse.

Clarisse was a humble, beautiful woman who passed her looks to her daughter. She took off unexpectedly one night, realizing how much the man, who seemed to have changed after a few paychecks, had used her. She left the child and the estate behind in hopes of her nightmare finally ending. Lynette had grown to be a "daddy's girl" anyway, so had the most expensive lawyer not stomped out her chances of taking the child, the child's wishes surely would have snuffed out all hope.

Lynette's father was against the idea of pokémon, considering assassination attempts would be much easier to accomplish. However, he felt he needed protection, so he purchased a Salamence to ensure his safety. Irony reigned when the Salamence felt neglected and decimated its master, escaping his tyranny when Lindsay was only 15. Her father never influenced Lynette's view of pokémon, however. There were many days her successful father abandoned her for important meetings. Lackadaisical strolls through their private garden were often a part of Lynette's daily routine. She encountered many pokémon through these walks, filling a void in her heart. All she wishes for now is the absolute best for these mysterious animals.

Personality: Lynette has always been quick to speak against people she deemed unworthy. Anyone "below" her saw her arrogant, upfront attitude. This quality is a double-edged sword, though. Her upfront, blunt honesty shows everyone the worst of a friend she'll be; if people can last through that, they'll surely be a close friend to her.

She truly is a kindhearted woman at heart, too. She never means to hurt anyone and feels it is absolutely necessary to tell people what they should know. Her inexperience at socializing may reward her with awkward speech, sometimes, and an upfront speech, but all of the friends she has made stay close to her. Since her father's death, though, she has increased her cold attitude towards people, seeming as though she now looks for imperfections in people. She has become lonely, secretly striving to have some sort of friend.

P.S. Lynette absolutely refuses to wear the tacky jumpsuit Team Plasma forces upon its employees. She has custom ordered an Egyptian cotton dress that stylishly incorporates the logo the best it can.

    Pokémon:

    Persian (Lvl 15)
    Male
    Nicknamed: Percival (Percy)

    Litwick (Lvl 10)
    Female
    Nickname: None

    Milotic (Lvl 13)
    Female
    Nickname: None

    Pokémon Personalities:

Ever since she saw a woman walking with one, Lynette begged and received a rescued Persian. Beaten by its old masters, this Persian had once been humble, gracious, and loving. Percival has been labeled as Lynette's pet and was pampered graciously by its new owner. With spoils, its personality changed. Persian now only obeys Lynette and only allows Lynette-approved people anywhere near its master. Percy is never used in battles.

Litwick is a spunky candle that craves its master's attention. It feels it is Percy's eternal rival in approval from its master and continuously shows its determination in each fight it enters. It is the strongest (and usually ONLY) fighter of the team.

Milotic has always been used for novelties such as showing off. It has already won a Beauty contest and is a strong finisher in battles. Few are known to exist, making Lynette spend 1/5th of her family fortune on this single pokémon. It is proud, majestic and owns a certain finesse while battling that few can rival. It has a strange affection for Lindsay even though it is treated more as a trophy than a loved one.

P.S: Bunnying is making someone else's character speak without their permission, Godmodding is making your character too powerful or adding in important details to the plot without the GM previously doing so, basically acting like a "god."

Searn I like your sign up but team Galactic doesn't exist in this universe, all you have to do is change that and your accepted.

Wow, sorry, not sure how I missed that. Edited. I wrote Team Plasma everywhere else, just not in the main area. Haha, and thanks.
