Cinder rolled to the side, narrowly dodging the Thunder Punch. This, however, made his Dragon Claw not hit the way John had intended. Thus, Brutus stayed up. A pretty good trade off. Cinder was showcasing his speed, not his power right now. Earl sent out his Gible. She then used Sandstorm. Cinder would take a bit of damage, but what was troubling was that the Sandstorm would impare his vision and his ability to fly properly. So, three options. Ground Cinder, try to fly through the sandstarm, or use someone else. John decided to use someone else. He called back Cinder and sent out Buster.
"Rhyhorn!" Buster shouted.
"Icy Wind!" John said calmly. Buster promtly ignored him and charged at the Gible with Take Down. That displeased John, but he would have a special training session with him later to make him more obdient. He liked his pokemon to think for themselves, but he also wanted them to listen to him when the time was right. John let this go, but he was going to make Buster listen one way or another.

Earl smiled as he saw Buster not listen to John, but he soon became worried. Buster, being a Rhyhorn, was a Ground- and Rock-type, meaning that the Sandstorm wouldn't do anything to him... However, the Sandstorm would help Mary more than Buster through her ability Sand Veil...

"Mary! Use Earthquake!" shouted Earl seeing if he could see Mary. Within a few seconds he did, seeing her jump into the air while narrowly dodging Buster and landing down hard behind him, causing a great tremor to be felt throughout the arena. As she did so, Earl almost lost his balance from the sheer power. Buster might be a few levels ahead of Mary, but Earl was confident she could still outspeed him!

"Sir! There have been reports of major UV radiation in Florida, and they're HUGE!" said the Legion grunt excitedly, staring at a computer screen onboard the helicopter. This was his first time riding in the black Legion Battle Helicopter with the Legion Commander MiB, and he was hoping to impress the Commander.

"Excellent. Seems that one of them has finally appeared," said MiB, who's appearance has slightly changed to be more fitting of a leader. While he is still wearing the exact same black body suit, it seems that certain things have been added to it. First of all, one would notice the silver metal shoulder pads holding up a black cape. The inside of the cape, however, was a blood-red color. On his hands were now what appeared to be red gauntlets, while his boots were now made from some kind of silver steel. On his chest was a rather large triangle, the points of which having a certain color. The top point had a green circle, the bottom left had a red circle, and the bottom right had a blue circle. In the center of this triangle was a silver L. His mask has also change, now adorning a large red M on the face.

"If I may, where exactly in Florida?"

"Wachulla sir! At the Safari Zone!"

"Damn. Of course it would choose a place where humans and Pokemon visit regularly," said an irritated MiB, thinking of a plan. "Not that it matters. Send in several of our higher-ranked members to subdue the humans there and catch some Pokemon for new recruits! Remember, subdue, not kill!"

"Sir yes sir!" shouted the members of Legion on board as they continued working on the computers, sending out orders to several members of Legion around the Safari Zone. It wouldn't be long now before the Pokemon that was now there would be in Legion's grasp.

((Aspie, you may post about the helicopter landing and having Israel meet MiB. Remember, MiB took his orders directly from the Gentleman when he was in the Human Alliance, so MiB will probably know what Israel looks like. He will also know Yasumi.))

Buster simply shrugged the Earthquake off and charged at Mary again.
"Buster, use Icy Wind!" John said irritatedly. Shadow yawned and began sniffing her way around, looking for something. Buster still wasn't listening. He decided it would be best to use Rock Tomb. He focused his power, and a great deal of rocks flew at Mary from all directions. Mary was at least tem levels lower than Buster, but he was so slow she would run circles around him. Let her try. Buster would take anything she could throw, and keep coming. He may be stupid, but he was tenacious. He was a rock, literally. He could take on Cinder, and that was a feat in and of itself.
 
Despite being the faster of the two, Earl saw Mary get hit by one of the rocks as they surrounded her. However, she was still standing, barely though. Perhaps it was time for Earl to have Mary REALLY let loose...

Actually, you know what? That wouldn't be so good. Not yet anyways. However, one attack of Mary's would be able to Buster hard, no matter how much weaker Mary was.

"Mary, hit Buster with Dragon Rage!"

Mary then reared back her head and fired the blue and yellow fire at Buster. Dragon Rage might not be the strongest of attacks, but it was strong enough because of the fact that it always did a specific amount of damage no matter how strong or weak the Pokemon who used it was. Perhaps it would help rack up the damage on Buster?

Buster roared and charged at Mary with Take Down. He ran right through the Dragon Rage and ran right at Mary. John yawned boredly.
"You even gonna try man? This is getting dull. You need to spice it up a bit if you want to have a chance at beating Israel. Or would you rather just let Yasumi stick with him? After all, he did such a great job of taking care of her," John said smugly. He knew exactly what buttons to push with Earl. Time to see if what he had showed him before really had stuck. If it had, Earl would get a little mad. If not, he'd go nuts again. Either way, John was going to see what he did.
 
"Return Mary!" shouted Earl before mary could get hit by Buster's Take Down, which was at the last second. This was not faring well for Earl at all at the moment.

"Kinda like how your father hit you all the time? He seems that he did too good of a job. I can just hear your busted brain try to figure out what the hell I'm doing," said Earl in response to John's question, smirking even more as he tossed out another Pokeball.

"Hera, time to shine!"

Hera the Ferroseed soon came forth into the sandstorm, seeming to be happy about it as she hopped. Suddenly, she soon saw Buster and began staring at him. That's all she did, just stare.

"Leech Seed!"

Upon hearing that, Hera jumped into the air and began spinning, send out various harmful seeds everywhere. Yes... This would help Earl greatly...
 
(OOC: Thank you for slowing down a bit for me. Also, I'm more of a Charmleon than Nidoking. :P )

"Dude, is that the best you've got? If Israel, who is much better at getting me riled up, can't get me about my father anymore, what makes you think you pathetic insults will work. Honestly, I thought I taught you better than that. Try a little harder next time, hick!" John snarled. He called Buster back, who was not pleased to go, and sent Cinder back into battle. Cinder immediately took off into the air as the seeds landed harmlessly on the battlefield. Shadow sniffed one, and jumped back from it. Cinder flew up until he was out of the sandstorm. He could wait up here until it wore off.
"Ominous Wind," John instructed. Cinder flared his wings and blasted a great purple burst of wind down into the battlefield. Unfortunately, the secondary ability didn't activate. Oh well. John needed to do something while he waited for the sandstorm to end.
 
As the Ominous Wind flew through the battlefield, the sandstorm slowly went away, revealing Hera just sitting there, not really doing anything as she took the attack... And it seemed to hardly do anything.

"Dang..." was all Earl said as he stared at Hera, who took the attack like a freakin' champ! Still though, Earl didn't like his chances with Cinder up in the air like that... Maybe he should try to ground Cinder again.

"Return Hera! Get in there Leonidas!" shouted Earl as he returned the Ferroseed as Leonidas walked on to the battlefield, staring at his fellow dragon Cinder. He puffed out his chest and smiled up at the flying dragon. Oh, this was going to be good.

"Leonidas! Blast him with Dragon Pulse!" shouted Earl as Leonidas fired off beam of blue and white up at Cinder. Earl had decided to save Hydro Pump. He had a feeling he was going to need to save it.

"Hick? Really? C'mon you little salope honky. Bien sûr, vous êtes plutôt stupide vous fils ignorant d'une garce. Hmm... Cela me rappelle... How's your mother?" asked Earl, smirking just a bit more than usual.

((What Earl said was French, including the salope part. If you need to, try to translate it on Google. Just note that it might not come out exactly right. Exactly translating stuff like that usually causes some issues.))
 
John had absolutely no idea what Earl just said, nor did he care.
"... Why are you fighting Earl? Really? Can you answer that? If not, then this is a pointless excercise. So, why are you fighting?" John said, serious all of a sudden as Cinder landed in front of him with a snort. Cinder crossed his arms and stared at Earl and Leonidas. He had dodged the Dragon Pulse from a second ago. John, however, was dead serious. He was staring at Earl. The battle was still going on, and Cinder wasn't going to do anything for the moment, except dodge out of the way. If Earl couldn't answer that question adequately, John was going to hop on Cinder and take off. If you didn't have a good reason for getting stronger, then that strength was wasted.
 
In the once small town of Wauchula a helicopter landed and a man known to his colleagues only as MiB stepped out and wasted no time getting to the mission, "what have the scouts found out?" "Nothing much sir" said a grunt that met him as he stepped out, "but there is something that may interest you, one of our scouts spotted Israel Mcfarline." MiB stopped, "Israel" he thought, MiB had never met Israel but he knew him well enough, you see the Gentleman had for some strange reason revealed himself as Tydus Mcfarline to MiB even though he had to have seen his betrayal in the future. Israel was the Gentleman's son, but more importantly he had the power to change the future, he would be very useful by MiB's side. But if not MiB would just kill him. MiB sent the order through his transmitter, "Start the take over."

Shea saw a random helicopter fly through the sky. "I bet some other trainers are having a good time battling, showing off their Pokemon... Mynh, let's head down this road here. It leads to a forest. Maybe some opponents, eh?" "Shaymin!" "Let's go, then!" Shea said as he vaulted over the short wall to the hill on the other side. Mynh had fallen off his head, but had landed in the cradle of Shea's arms. He curled up and released his flowers, causing him to seem like a Gracidea bouquet.
 
Israel was proud of his success, not because of all of the Pokemon he'd caught, oh no, but because he finally managed to capture THAT FREAKEN SNORLAX!!!! Israel walked out of the mountain like area and met up with Yasumi. "So what did you catch" she asked. Israel got a confident look on his face, "I caught the Titan of the Safari Zone" said Israel. "What else did you catch?" she asked intrigued. "Ah just a Bulbasaur and a Snorlax nothing big so what about you?" answered Israel. Before Yasumi could answer two men in black body suits (that is their dress code right Game Over?) appeared and said, "Israel and Yasumi you two are now prisoners of Legion." Israel laughed, "Oh you're serious?" he said. He then pulled out a Pokeball and let out his Alakazam.

((Allow me to answer Aspie's question first. Aspie, if you could, can you edit that part about MiB's cancer? Just a little thing, as that will be HUGE for later. Also, the dress code is black body suits with a large silver L on the chest. Just note that MiB's appearance is drastically different, as evident from my post yesterday. Also, MiB isn't necessarily trying to stop the future from happening. He's just trying to stop you-know-who.))

"Why do I fight? I fight because I want to. I fight because I want to be the better than Israel will EVER be. Heck, maybe so that one day I can be better than you. As for why I started this journey? I started to just see the world, but it soon became a mission. A mission to find the man that was never there for me! Leonidas, use Hydro Pump in the manner I taught you!"

With his orders set, Leonidas jumped in the air and let loose, sending out a gigantic amount of water as he began spinning, sending the Hydro Pump every which way. It might be a bit weakened, but it would be enough to cause Cinder not to try and move so much.

The people in legion became an actual Legion, there had to be at least 30 of them and they were armed with Pokemon inside of Pokeballs and guns, "Child you have one Pokemon and there are many of us now return your Alakazam or face death." Yasumi had let down her Psychic defenses and thanks to Alakazam she communicated a plan to Israel telepathically. Israel liked it and smiled and returned his Pokemon, "All right, we surrender" sad Israel putting his hands up in the air. "Unclentch your fist" said a Legion grunt, "Okay" said Israel throwing down the Smoke bomb item. The momentary surprise and distraction caused by the smokescreen allowed Yasumi enough time to release the Pokemon that she had caught in the Tropics, a fully evolved Garchomp. "Garchomp use Sandstorm!!!!" she yelled, and the Garchomp created a powerful Sandtorm that knocked the Legion members every which way. And then Israel and Yasumi entered the sanstorm and were able to see because of the Go goggles items that Yasumi possessed. Israel and Yasumi went from grunt to grunt incapacitating each of them while they were staggering around, "I love this women" thought Israel. Then the sandstorm then cleared and a a man in an unusual Black uniform approached, "I'm impressed" he said.

MiB walked up to the young man and girl who had defeated a very, VERY small portion of his team. The Safari Zone was surrounded, and the many people who came to visit the Safari Zone today were already on the ground, members of Legion next to those already tied up, making sure none would try to interfere in their plans. Some of the grunts were now capturing Pokemon for new recruits, specifically focusing on Dark-type Pokemon.

"Israel wasn't it? Allow me to introduce myself. I am MiB, leader of Legion... Yasumi? What a surprise to see you here too with scum such as this," said MiB, noticing the former member of the Human Alliance.

"Well then, let's cut with the formalities shall we? How about I offer you both with something? A chance to join Legion and help us defeat the Human Alliance AND Team Plasma. We could use people like you two anyway. You know, the kind that take an intiative? I always like to see that in new recruits."
 
John laughed as Cinder used Ominous Wind to simply blast the water back.
"That answer... That's not a bad reason, but there is more to it than that. You've taken to my methods where most people turn and flinch from them. But fine, don't tell me. I want you to focus on whatever drives you. Whatever motivates you to win, and just keep winning. Let it build. Let it burn. But control it. Focus on it, but don't obsess over it. Feel it, and trust in it. Trust that you have the strength to win. Trust that your pokemon will push themselves to the limit to acomplish that. Know your strength. Own it. And use it against me. Because you won't even knock out one of my pokemon if you don't. Cinder, use Flare Blitz as hard and as fast as you can!" John said. Cinder roared his approval at this and set himself on fire. He flew straight at Leonidas in a large flaming blur.
"I'll tell you something. To be able to beat Israel, you must be as... Poccessed as he is. You have to be willing to go to any lengthes to accomplish what you want. Why do you think I blew up that helicopter? Or wrecked that lab? I am motivated by revenge, pure and simple. I want to make them pay. I want to take everything from those bastards that they took from me. The only line I will not cross to do so is hurting my pokemon. That's it. That's why I beat him before. Because I will not let anything stop me. And now, he will be even more enflamed. He's very much like you. All he wants right now is to beat me. And that may happen. Use your own strength to get stronger, because I can only take you so far. If you don't, then you'll never get anywhere," John said as Cinder flew at Leonidas. He smiled, knowing Earl was getting the message. It wasn't about training everyday or battling all the time. You had to live it. Breath it. John understood. Israel understood, even if he wanted to claim he didn't. John was now taking this battle to the next level. He's lay off the insults and simply focus on taking Earl's pokemon apart one by one. And if Earl understood what John was talking about, then even though his pokemon were far weaker than John's, he'd put up an excellent fight. John would find out one way or another.
 
Israel thought about it for a minute and then said mocking righteous indignation, "I would never join a team that dresses like Darth Vader's Village people!!!!!" Yasumi then said, "thanks but no thanks." Israel then cut the crap, "Look man, you talk like one of the good guys but your men just tried to assault us, if you want new recruits the first rule is don't attack them. Also taking a whole place hostage isn't how we do things, we're the good guys, so unless you have something else to offer us than joining another Human Alliance ripoff we won't bite." Israel then paused and said, "Also the Gentleman Is NOT my father, it's just an illusion."

More to it? Motivation? What was Earl's motivation? True, he wanted to be better than Israel. He also wanted to be better than John, but to a much lesser extent. However, what was the real motivation? Perhaps... Perhaps it was to be able to protect Yasumi. Perhaps it was to win her heart.

No. It was for revenge now. It was to be able to, one day, defeat Israel, to humiliate him in front of the one he loved. It was to also avenge Yasumi for what the Human Alliance did to her. Heck, the motivation was now for Earl to find his father and be able to make him pay for deserting Earl and his mother too!

"LEONIDAS! CHARGE STRAIGHT AT CINDER WHILE USING HYDRO PUMP!" shouted Earl, the motivation to fulfill his current goal coming to him as Leonidas to felt it. Leonidas, inspired by his trainer's determination, charged at Cinder as fast as he could. As he did so, he let energy build up in him, until it came to the point where he couldn't hold it any longer. When he was not even a foot away from Cinder, he unleashed the energy in the form of Hydro Pump, sending the stream of water, as powerful as a jet at full speed, straight into Cinder's face.

((You can decide if Cinder keeps going with Flare Blitz or not and damages Leonidas. Now time for an answer to Israel from MiB.))

MiB laughed at the boy, his mask hiding the smile on his face. Oh yeah, this kid acted like Tydus in more ways than one.

"Hostages? Oh no, we aren't taking hostages. We are just making sure those people don't get in our way... And it seems that I will have to do the same for both of you."

When MiB said that, he reached for his belt and removed the Ultra Ball and the Great Ball from it. With a toss, the balls opened, revealing two extremely high leveled Pokemon. One, upon coming out, let out a deafening roar, causing many of the wild Pokemon in the Safari Zone to hide. The other rubbed his claws together, looking rather sneaky as he did so.

"Israel, Yasumi, meet Tyranitar and Krookidile. Tyranitar, Krookidile, meet Israel and Yasumi," said MiB as both of his Pokemon grinned at the two people in front of them, ready to do as their master ordered. "Now, how about a little double battle, hmm? It will be I, MiB, versus the two of you. Sounds like I still have the advantage though."

Cinder roared in triumph as he flew right through the Hydro Pump. Blaze activated, and he slammed into Leonidas. That had to hurt. Cinder took to the skies while Leonidas went rolling on the ground. Cinder roared again. His power was incredible. The flame on his tail was burning so brightly it was like a mini sun. John smiled. Perfect. Now, after they finished this battle, Earl was going to be surprised by what he did next. He wondered if the Flare Blitz had knocked Leonidas out. Well, he had something better to do.
"Good job Cinder. Use Flamethrower now!" John said. Cinder roared again and circled over the Croconaw before blasting a tremendously powerful Flamethrower at Leonidas. John was a little surprised at Earl. He must have something powerful to fight for. Good, gaining strength just for the hell of it would make you end up corrupt. That's probably what happened to Tydus.

(OOC: lol, John's inspiration is a little twisted wouldn't you say? But hey, it worked!)
 
"Get up Leonidas!" shouted Earl as Leonidas slowly stood up, very slowly at that. He was hurt, and he was hurt bad, but he was gonna be damned if he lost to an overgrown lizard with wings! He then looked up long enough to see the Flamethrower, which he dodged, but barely.

"Atta boy! Use Superpower!"

Leonidas, seeing as Cinder was still out of reach for him to punch him, began glowing light blue as he suddenly lifted up a boulder ten times his size and weight. He then waited as Cinder flew, until he felt he had perfect aim.

"Croco NAW!" shouted Leonidas as he tossed the boulder as hard as he could, sending it straight to Cinder at incredible speeds.

((It is, sure, but it'll be the one thing that'll send Earl on the path I want him on.))
 
"Yeah" said Israel, "you still have the advantage Vader's mentally challenged cousin because we can only have one Pokemon on us, so if you wan't a fair battle then you'll have to let us get our Pokemon." Israel was ready for battle but he knew that he wouldn't have a chance of beating this guy with just Alakazam. "Don't worry" said Israel, "I don't back down from a fight."
